Rested from 06 to 19 November 2018, I must say that satisfied.
In the tour agency we were warned about the exchange of money at the airport (the best rate), so we did, kept the receipt, the extra money was exchanged there on the way back. They flew with UIA from Kyiv to Colombo for nine hours without a break, fed deliciously, and made movies during the flight.
Check-in at Coco Royal Beach Resort at 14 o'clock but we arrived at 11 o'clock, settled in the room immediately.
People are very friendly, know a little Russian, but most of the communication is in English. We did not have time to buy their operator's card at the airport (3-5 dollars), but what was our surprise that the Wi-Fi in the hotel works great at the reception and lobby bar, in short we were always in touch.
The hotel room is beautiful with a balcony and ocean views, everything worked (air conditioning, fan, TV, kettle) cleaned daily, added coffee, tea, cream, sugar and of course drinking water.
Fed well, of course, if you do not expect lobsters. At first, everything seemed spicy, but we quickly figured out where the dishes, always three varieties of rice, potatoes and pasta, many vegetables (spicy, steamed, stewed-fried), as well as meat, fish for all tastes, bread, rolls of various flours, pastries, fruits (lots of pineapples, bananas and papayas (). One point is that I would not go with children under 10 years old.
For the first meal for adults, the second is always at sea waves and underwater currents (swimming is very dangerous, big waves), the third - no animation (music was only in the evening). It is good that they bought some alcohol in the Duty Free shop in Kyiv, because in Sri Lanka the prices for these products are as expensive as for an ordinary Ukrainian tourist.
One thing is that they bought this beer and it tastes like that… Let's say, if it's stupid to swim and sunbathe, it's boring, it's not Egypt, where something is always moving, jumping and full of music.
