The hotel was chosen based on reviews on the Internet. In general, they were positive, plus everyone wrote that the hotel grounds were very good.
Check-in took place with varying success))) arrived somewhere at 9.30. First, we were offered breakfast. Then we went downstairs and were told that check-in is from 13.00 and that if we want to check-in now, we need to pay $40. I refused to pay, but said that we were very tired and I would like to speed up the procedure. The girl at the reception, squinting somewhere, offered to come in an hour, but for now, take a walk around the territory. An hour later, at 11.00, we were settled)
The hotel is old, the humidity in the rooms is very difficult to bear, you need to keep the air conditioner on all the time, which makes it easy to catch a cold. There are no special complaints about the room itself, the only thing is that the shower is very uncomfortable.

The territory is really green and beautiful, a lot of chipmunks (take nuts and seeds), monitor lizards walk. The pool is so-so, I especially didn’t like the bathing Muslim women in their clothes: I’m in a bathing suit and I have to take a shower beforehand, and they are right in all their dresses from head to toe. I understand the religion there and all that, but the desire to swim completely disappeared after that, somehow unhygienic, you never know what kind of sores under these clothes ((
Meals (breakfast) - tasteless and not varied. We did not regret that we took only breakfast)
The staff is very responsive, friendly, always trying to solve your problem.
The first couple of days were in a slight shock from the country as a whole and the hotel in particular, but then they adapted and decided not to bathe, but just enjoy their vacation, which is what I wish everyone!
P. S. We will hardly go to Sri Lanka for the second time)
