Sri Lanka. Little England?

We flew from Kyiv to Sharjah with Air Arabia. The flight began with a prayer to Allah over the speakerphone. Havchik for money. $10 (AED 30) is a great full meal. The plov was just amazing.
In Sharjah, my roof was blown off and my neck was jammed. The roof was blown away from the abundance of multi-colored people in a wide variety of attire. And the neck is stuck from the air conditioners, which are atrocious everywhere.
My mood dropped, because I thought that I would spend all 11 days on Sri in the hospital. Nothing. Let go.
By the way, we flew over the wonderful country of Iran. Now I know that it is yellow and almost does not grow prostrate there.
We flew from Sharjah to Colombo. Legs rested on the back of a neighbor. To my right, a Sri Lankan girl was falling asleep. She was either sick, or she was out of sorts, in short, strange.
We didn’t get any sleep, because it’s almost impossible on the Airbus A320. Again a prayer on the speakerphone and again we fly. It's already night. Landing in Colombo was hard and eerie. In the porthole, everything looked like a Far Cry game. Palm trees and palms. Bought local rupees at the airport. The exchange rate was 1 dollar - 111 rupees. We also bought a SIM card from the local operator Dialog. The cheapest calls to Ukraine. By the way, everything is like in Russia, through a passport. Free state hehe))). We were met by a man Louis, 55 years old.
1. There are a lot of soldiers on the streets. It feels like the war has just ended.
2. Left-hand traffic. I sat in front, hands trying to find the steering wheel in the air, and feet groping for pedals. You feel like some kind of monkey when you sit to the LEFT of the driver.
3. Road markings as in England (I have not been to England, but I watched the TOP GIR program).
4. What is considered a serious emergency in Ukraine in Sri Lanka is a completely normal ride. I was just shocked at how they drive. Where there are 2 lanes there are 4 cars, three of which overtake the fourth and a tuk-tuk is squeezed between them. Image below.
