So, having received our things and going through customs, we quickly jumped onto the train, which took us to our station - Roppongi in 40 minutes. The first thing that strikes you is the cleanliness and politeness. I fell in love with Tokyo at first sight - greenery, unusual buildings (the architecture of the city is a separate issue), drinks machines, telephones, toilets (toilet bowls with heating, music, bidet, etc. bells and whistles) at every step, and also - a pleasant aroma: )))) The Japanese are always ready to help, explain how to get to the right place, drive to such and such a station. I was struck by the clothes of the Japanese - short shorts + stockings + dimensionless T-shirts / T-shirts are popular among girls. You can also leggings or tight black tights with bright pink shoes. But for those who are used to McDonald's and similar places, I will say that there are plenty of them in Japan (in Tokyo, Okinawa, Niigata, and other places too). Many children, by the way, are addicted to American food, so there are many fat children, which is not typical for the Japanese. In addition to this, bento for every taste (boxes with food) is sold in stores.
As for hotels - we lived in Tokyo - the hotels Villa Fontey Roppongi and Villa Fontey Roppongi Annex. On Okinawa, in Laguna Garden. In Niigata, unfortunately, I do not remember. So, everywhere in the rooms they change linen and towels every day. The breakfasts are delicious (especially in Okinawa - from the belly). In the bathroom - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, liquid soap for the face, toothpaste and brushes (changed every day), razors (also changed every day), shaving gel and bath pops. There are also ironers for trousers (a special device in which you put jeans / shorts, close it, plug it into a socket and after a while you can put it on), though you can’t iron shirts there and I couldn’t iron my skirt either : ((
What to see in Tokyo - the Imperial Palace, the Ueno Zoo, be sure to go to Odaiba (a district of the future built on an island of garbage), there is just a Ferris wheel where there are several completely transparent booths - for thrill-seekers, also visit the Tokyo Tower - in clear weather, you can see Fuji from it. Walk along Ginza, visit Ginza. Yes, visit Disneyland and Disneysea - it will take 2-3 days. And much more. Yes, regarding the Akihobara area, I can advise the store - Yadobashi Camera. Further, Okinawa, what can I say - a fairy tale. No wonder the Japanese call it a pearl. Incredibly beautiful sea (there is even a painting "7 colors of the sea of Okinawa"). Lots of Americans around their bases. We traveled by car, so we had no problems getting to the right place. I was struck by the water park, white sand, sea... Also a great place for diving - beautiful fish, warm sea....It so happened that we ended up in a diving club that had never had Europeans before us : ))) The owner is so was delighted with this, took a bunch of photos and asked permission from us if he could use our photos as advertising. And when he received consent, he already lit up with happiness. We also gave him Russian rubles : )) But the funny thing is that we broke the bench in this club (it was designed for the Japanese). How it happened - there were 3 of us, a fragile girl weighing 50 kg, my favorite - weighing 2 times bigger than me and 188 tall + our friend, weighing about 80 kg, sat on a bench and it cracked under us. The owner, a small wiry Japanese, apologized for a long time, brought us tea, asked if we were hurt. : )) In general, it was fun.
According to Niigata, not far from the city (3 hours away) there is a ski resort where you can ski at the end of April, although I, a lover of blades, did not find them there, and I had to go skiing. Also, not far from the city there is a nature reserve (a lake, a forest, rivers, cherry blossoms, camellias, Japanese with fishing rods)....In general, peace and quiet. By the way, when we arrived there, the locals looked at us with interest. As a friend of my beloved, who has been living in Niigata for 5 years, explained, this park is far from tourist routes, so Europeans, and even more so Russians, don’t go there.
After Niigata we again went to Tokyo by highway - 3 hours drive. Tokyo is my favorite Tokyo, with incredible buildings, multi-tiered roads (for example, there is a building - on one side an entrance leads to it - a street, and on the other side there may be a road, but a few meters lower - it is not clear where which floor is : ) )) Night Tokyo is also unique, the main thing is not to go alone or alone, because. there are many bars in the center where the black population of the city seeks to drag lonely passers-by, as well as many girls of easy virtue or just schoolgirls who do "part-time work" for a new bag from Louis Vuitton, and go to school in the morning.
