We did not choose the hotel ourselves, it was provided to us by the agency through which we bought this trip. The hotel is urban, hidden among the same featureless high-rise buildings. The check-in of a group of 17 people took five minutes, a nice girl at the reception very quickly looked at the guests' passports and gave out envelopes with electronic cards (2 from the room). Our request for a triple room was granted. The room was on the 1st floor (actually it is the 3rd floor of the building). The room is quite large, clean, three 1.5 beds, a dressing table, a huge mirror, a sitting area, 2 chairs and a table, a cabinet with a TV, a huge wardrobe in the hallway, a shoe rack, a minibar with drinks (no one was interested in them when checking out) , large bathroom with bidet (there were no problems with water). Wooden furniture, far from new, but quite solid. What was surprising was that the room did not have a window to the street: a huge stained-glass window went out into the shaft of the courtyard, like a closed loggia on which an artificial flower garden was arranged, the only way out to it was from our room, and then the sky was high. The lighting of the room is subdued, made by night bedside lamps, lamps in front of a mirror, a luminous headboard and a floor lamp in the recreation area, in short, the brightest place is the bathroom. There is no hair dryer in the room (they didn’t ask at the reception), but on the second day I had to ask for towels, because the cleaner stole 6 pieces, and replaced only 4. Immediately after we reported this, towels were brought to us. The hotel has an indoor restaurant and an outdoor dining area where we usually had dinner. Breakfasts are very modest: packaged jams, butter, honey, boiled egg, breakfast cereals, milk, tea, coffee, UPI drink, tortillas and bread for toast. For dinner, the assortment is also not large for a buffet - 2-3 types of hot dishes, a couple of side dishes, one type of dessert, sliced vegetables, pickles that are unusual for us - but we must pay tribute, they cook meat (mutton) very tasty. The hotel is located within walking distance from the mullah "Galeria", for the capital of Jordan it is not unimportant to walk to a large store, because it is not very comfortable to move around the city on foot, and there is practically no public transport, only a taxi. There are several grocery stores near the hotel, but their prices are much higher than the hypermarket, there is a liquor store on the corner (there are very few of them in Amman, because a Muslim cannot get a license for alcohol, only a Christian, who is 10 percent in the capital). In general, the hotel is suitable for a short stay, the staff is friendly and efficient, there are no Russian speakers.
