On a trip to Jordan we stayed one night at this hotel.
The hotel itself is nothing special - a standard three-ruble note with fairly old furniture and quite tolerable plumbing. The breakfast in it was of an average level, although even for me, who likes to eat heartily in the morning, there was something to profit from. And on the first evening we were fed in a restaurant with dinner (portions are huge) at about 11 pm. The cook was only waiting for us - when we left, it seems that the cook also left and there was only food "for warming up". At the same time, for the price of an ordinary double, they settled us in a two-room suite with a kitchen (although, in general, we didn’t need it). A trifle - but nice.
But in the future, thanks to the hotel staff, we saved quite a lot of money on a further trip! The next morning we asked for help, as we could not decide how to get to Jerash, then return to the hotel for things and go to Petra with our suitcases. The young man at the reception called 3 companies and in the end said that he had found the cheapest option. Indeed, the option was very cheap - the taxi driver took us with things to Jerash, where we walked for 3 hours, had lunch, and he took us to Petra. The car was an official taxi. True, without a counter, but with a predetermined amount of payment. But when we later called the taxi drivers the amount of our "circular" trip, they were horrified and said that they would not be lucky. At the same time, "our" driver was a very good professional - I'm afraid of "sharp" drivers, and this one drove very carefully, observing all the rules, and at the same time exactly on the verge of the allowed speed (roads in Jordan are very good).
In general, thanks to the hotel staff, this simple hotel left only pleasant memories.
