Just yesterday we flew in from Jordan, I am writing a review because I usually read reviews myself before ordering a ticket. I liked everything about the hotel in general, special thanks to Dasha (she was attentive, helped with check-in) we were provided with a room with a sea view, although we paid for the usual one. The hotel is probably the best in Jordan, although don’t expect anything special, you can compare it with the Egyptian five. Nevertheless, everything was cleaned cleanly, towels changed, everything was new. we had only apples and tangerines. Water is put in the room daily and the bar is replenished for free. The staff is just excellent, as I understand it, Filipinas, they remember what you prefer from the first time (what kind of wine, coffee, etc. ) Very smiling and unobtrusive .
The country is very dirty, there is rubbish everywhere. We went to Tala Bay, we liked it very much, everything is clean and beautiful there. . The bus is right on schedule. In Aqaba you can buy coffee, souvenirs, silver. We agreed with a taxi driver (they stand near the Hilton) and he drove us two for 2 days. The first day we visited Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. The second day is the dead sea and hot waterfalls. I liked everything very much.
Now attention! Do not get into a mess like us!! ! We ordered a tour at a travel agency under the contract "Development Technologies LLC", agent Natalia Viktorovna Kulanova, January 24. Tour operator Pegasus. I specified everything when booking. We were supposed to fly on the 19th in the evening from Sheremetyevo and return there, instead, the departure was moved to Domodedovo at 6 am and the arrival there, respectively (in principle, a common thing, because a charter) Then everything is interesting))) instead of the branded large board promised (Pegasus), we received Ural Airlines (in he was scared to sit down), but... I think okay, we set ourselves up positively, we still have a rest... we arrived, we got off the plane and, welcome to ISRAEL! Nobody even deigned to warn us! Not only the airline, the time and place of departure were changed for us but also the country of arrival !! ! We were loaded onto the bus, for about an hour we drove through Israel to the border, then once again we went through Israeli passport control with the lifting of suitcases, then we crossed the border on foot with things and again passport control, now Jordan, having translucent changing things, etc. They still see all this as a novelty, so nothing is organized. In general, a complete nightmare! Half a day of our vacation was simply stolen. But it was still flowers, we were waiting for a return back. 10:30 (! ), nevertheless, we were picked up from the hotel at 5:40 (! ), at first we thought that they were probably the first to pick us up, so it was so early. But no! We got into an already full bus and off we went. First there was the border of Jordan (everything is fast there), again we crossed the border on foot with things and then it was sooo fun! We went in together with the Jordanians who cross the border in order to work in Israel, the TV worked alone, the line was wild. , because Jordan is an Arab country and is not friendly to Israel. Then we were loaded back into the bus and taken to the airport, here we were again shaken up by all things, and an interesting detail is that if you are a family, they let you in, and if you are friends, they put you aside and let you in for registration after family! In general, the whole vacation is for nothing! My advice is if you also make up such a program on the last day, refuse! for your money, and not small, and you will get a lot of inconvenience!
At the airport they told us that Israel pays 45 euros to the tour operator for each tourist (as tourism support). I don’t know if it’s true or not. It’s sad that our tour operators treat people like that, in particular Pegasus
We went on excursions to Petra and the Dead Sea. Excursions are made only by individuals, so they are very expensive. In Petra, it is quite possible to save money and do without a guide, the main thing, in my opinion, is to see it all with your own eyes, take a walk there, take pictures, and you can read the story at home in a book.
The weather was warmer on the Met Sea than in Aqaba. The Dead Sea coast from Jordan is different from Israel. In Jordan, the shores are rocky, while in Israel they are low and covered with salt.
The room was cleaned every day. The staff is very polite and attentive.
I liked this hotel - the territory is large enough, it was where to walk. There are several swimming pools on the territory of the hotel, including those with hydromassage, there is a water slide. The area itself is very beautiful and well maintained. There were enough sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone, both by the pools and by the sea. There is an opportunity to use the pool from the early morning, which we did as a charge, and the appetite appeared before breakfast.
Food, especially all sorts of desserts and cakes, I liked it.
The beach on the sea is spacious and clean, the sea is beautiful. The bathing area is fenced with pontoons and buoys. The entrance to the water is rocky, so there are specially 2 pontoons. We liked it better from the shore, so we bought plastic slippers. Towels on the beach are issued on cards. There are reefs in the sea, of course, there is no comparison with Egypt. Every day we swam with a mask and snorkel, counted about seven species of different fish. If you stand facing the sea and sail to the left, there are more interesting reefs, and there are more fish.
I really liked that you can play beach volleyball on the beach.
In total, we spent 8 days at the hotel, on the eighth day we had a flight at 15:00, so in the morning we had time to swim again. Unfortunately, we did not get on a single excursion, and there is a large selection of them, so we will definitely return next time.
