Venice is a fabulous and romantic city on the water. Many people dream of being there. It was my childhood dream - to see a beautiful city with my own eyes, to ride on unusual long and narrow boats - gondolas. However, the prices for hotels in Venice are not at all low, and we planned to go there at the height of the season, and even with the whole family.

But a way out was found, "prompted" by his booking system www. interbooking. ru
When choosing a hotel, we paid attention to the low price of the 4-star hotel "La Meridien". It turned out that the hotel is located in the suburbs of Venice - the small town of Mogliano Veneto. We weighed all the pros and cons. We decided that this is a very interesting option - we left the car in the hotel parking lot (for free, we didn’t have to spend 28 euros on parking in Venice). For 3.60 euros (round trip ticket) and spending no more than 20 minutes, we arrived at the Santa Lucia station in Venice. From the hotel itself to the railway station is about 5 minutes walk. Trains run frequently, 3-4 per hour, until late at night, so getting from the hotel to Venice and back is quite easy. The hotel itself made a good impression: huge rooms (a king-size bed for parents and a large, full bed for our child + a coffee table and an armchair, 3 chairs, a TV cabinet, a minibar, a huge wardrobe in the hallway. There is a mirror in the room and the wardrobe doors are also mirrored + mirror in the bathroom. The lighting is good. The bathroom is also huge with a bathtub (not a shower), and all sorts of nice little things like a deliciously smelling shampoo and gel. It should be noted that on the 2nd and 3rd floors there is a large balcony (ask for a room there, on the 1st floor, there is a balcony "French"). Breakfast is simply wonderful: delicious coffee of various kinds, tea, fresh pastries, yogurts, cheeses, excellent Italian ham, boiled eggs, fresh and canned fruits, and all sorts of muesli. one bonus - free wi-fi in the room. Yes, it is important for the summer - the air conditioning in the room is individual, worked well. The staff is helpful. So I really liked the hotel.
