We took a burning tour for 7 nights, breakfasts, dinners. Tour operator Join Up. Flight Sky Up. Traveled as a couple with a 6 year old. The flight is excellent. On the very first day, we went knee-deep into the sea and the child was stung by a jellyfish, there are a lot of them there, a leg burn on both sides. Smeared with fenistil. Jellyfish were along the entire coast for 2-3 days, no one entered the water. I liked the San Pietro Hotel. Cozy room, but the main balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains + sea. Wi-fi only in the lobby. Breakfast buffet. Delicious croissants. Dinner buffet plus restaurant menu served by waiters. Dinners are very satisfying. Delicious ice cream made by them. I didn’t like the waiter with glasses, plus the young waitress who flew up to us for dinner and grabbed a plate of fruit, saying that they serve fruit only after the main meal. It was very unpleasant. Dinner drinks are paid only. Room cleaning every day. Beach towels are not provided. Sunbed plus umbrella 4 euros per person. We bought an umbrella for 8 euros at a local stall. The town itself is very cozy, small cafes, restaurants, shops. All along the waterfront. The hotel is located on the waterfront. Went out and went straight to the beach. From fruits they bought watermelon, melon, peaches, nectarines. Watermelon is very sweet.
Unpleasantly surprised by the female guide from JoinUp. who sells tours. I asked several times how to get to the water park with a child. She replied that only by car. In fact, after 2 intersections from the hotel there is a stop + InterBus office where you can pay for the transfer to the water park and back. The whole trip cost us 40 euros for two, round trip. Picked up at 8 am, back at 5:30 pm. The water park is called Etnaland. In fact, this is a water park plus an amusement park. The water park is open all day, the amusement park opens in the evening. The ticket price for an adult in the water park is 22 euros, for a child 15 euros. We really liked it, a huge territory, a lot of slides, pools, for every taste and age. There are paid guarded booths for valuables, paid unguarded ones, and many people leave their towels and backpacks right on the grass. In the second half of our holiday there were no jellyfish, the sea is clean, transparent, warm. The beach itself is very wide and long, there are a lot of places. The atmosphere is pleasant. Interesting to watch the locals. The Italians themselves are also different, there are very friendly, especially to children, there are arrogant and dissatisfied. In general, we are satisfied with the trip, but if you are traveling with a child just to swim in the sea, I would think 10 times. Since jellyfish with long tentacles is really scary and painful. We know from personal experience.
