The weather did not disappoint 28-30 warm, almost always sunny. Excursions to various places are organized for an additional fee (about 10, including Malta). It is possible to contact, if necessary, with a representative of the travel agency (Pac Grup).
Near the volcano - Etna - is impressive.
What I didn’t like: Walking to the beach is quite far, since the territory of the hotel itself (see above) is not small and is located on the second line. The beach is paid - 8 euros per person. The pebbles are small-medium, the entry into the sea is immediately deep (it is very inconvenient with small children), the water temperature depends on the currents, which can change several times a day, like the wind. Suddenly, along with a change in current, stinging jellyfish may appear (took my father, so the redness did not go away for a week). Despite the large number of Russian tourists, no one speaks Russian at the hotel reception. In our room, the air conditioner on the 2nd floor, telephone, flexible shower in the bathroom did not initially work. After contacting the reception, they only did a shower. Everything worked for my parents in exactly the same room. There are no TV programs in Russian.
We ate at the nearby 5-star Hilton hotel. Breakfast - buffet, assortment: 1 type of ham or sausage, 1 type of cheese, 2-3 types of yogurt, muesli, milk, fresh juices, 2 types of pastries, butter, honey, jams, oranges, lemons, apples, kiwi, pears. Tea, coffee, very good coffee by the way.
For dinner, there are 2 types of menu to choose from, there is always something fish. The portions are average, but cooked tasty, high quality. For 1 person to choose from, either a glass of dry wine (red or white), or bottled beer 0.33 and excellent mineral water 0.5 per person, for dessert, a choice of either fruit or cakes, cakes (worth a try).
In the room you can cook for dinner yourself, but you need utensils - pots, pans, etc. . A good supermarket - Gabiani is located about 1.5 km from the hotel with normal prices, and those 3 grocery stores that are in the resort area nearby are quite expensive . As a result, we drove for 40 euros (they were never returned to us !!! ) to our hotel, thank God it was indicated in the voucher. Nervous, please! In the morning it turned out that on our tour only 5 people had arrived from Moscow (including us), i. е. The 3 bus took away, but they decided not to wait for us (but cho 3 is more than 2! )
The most “interesting” thing turned out on the first day of the excursion - our group consisted of 6 people and we were attached to the German group - 15-20 people (besides them there were 5 Italians) and all excursions were conducted in Italian and German into a microphone for the whole bus! ! ! Oksana sometimes whispered in Russian, what she wrote out the day before in a half-sheet notebook, but immediately the Germans began to hiss at us that we were disturbing them. Throughout the tour, we only had breakfasts and dinners planned, and the Germans also had lunches, so we had to shorten the excursion program, drive with them for lunch and wait for them, hanging around nearby!
In all archaeological areas there was also a local guide who told everything in Italian and German. All we learned is what we read in a book on Sicily that we bought in Palermo.
And, just in case, information for those who are planning to go, in Giardini Naxos (a resort town near Taormina) there is a 3 * hotel (you can’t turn your tongue) called “Panoramic” here, in no case even for one night! This is such a shed! Horror! One shower is worth what a closet 50x50 cm and the curtain sticks to the body (brrr)! It's not clear who it's intended for.

Neither Danko nor Norma Vacanza - no one cares about us, just to rip off the money! With so many groups, they should have provided us with a minibus, but apparently they saved money.
