True, the houses themselves are already old and in the bathroom something fell off in places (tiles, plaster. There is no bath itself, only a shower room. Breakfast is not very varied, dinner has a choice of two dishes from the menu. We had enough. But if someone likes to eat seriously, probably not enough) The beach and the sea are clean, och. liked the sea. The bus can take you anywhere in the island. We took a car for 3 days, but expensive gasoline, parking is paid everywhere, and the rental of roads itself.

I didn’t like Palermo, but Catania and Messina are very good. Near Messina on the right, very pretty beaches for swimming.

There are almost no hotels (near Messina), only villas. The Sicilians themselves are very pleasant, not intrusive, correct and well-mannered, I really liked the atmosphere. After the Spaniards in Mallorca and Tenerife, the difference is very felt ...Although the Spanish islands are more picturesque in terms of nature. This resort has not yet been settled by Russians, so they treat Russians well there. To my surprise and joy, I have never been able to see drunk compatriots))) In general, we had a great rest, visited almost everything within reach of our town, taking into account the return for dinner. For beginners, I strongly advise you to visit the mountain gorge of Alcantara with the ascent along the mountain river to the Venus waterfall. You can get there only with an instructor and in a wetsuit. It costs 25 euros. For the first time, we decided to walk on our own, without costumes, in only swimsuits, that was extreme!
