The trip of our dreams
Recently, my husband and I went to Italy. We had a dream to visit the city of Osimo (120 km from Rimini), where the relics of the Catholic saint Giuseppe de Copertino (who was called the "flying monk" are located. He had the ability to "fly", that is, soar above the ground (This is called levitation). And he is the patron saint of pilots and students. Believers turn to him when there are difficulties in learning.
Since such a city is not included in the excursion program in Italy, we found Alexander’s phone from Rimini on the Internet and contacted him. Upon arrival, we met with him, he turned out to be a pleasant young man who introduced us to his friend Konstantin. We drove to this small town in Konstantin's private car at 8 am, but what we saw exceeded all our expectations. And we expected to see a small church in a small town. In fact, the town is located on a green hill, at the very top there is a beautiful huge basilica. Inside, under the glass of the relics of this Saint Giuseppe de Copertino (under the sarcophagus), and there is also a museum below, where his modest things are kept.
Konstantin, who knows Italian well, helped us turn to the priest of this temple and we even received a blessing. It was very exciting!! ! Surprisingly, there are very few tourists.
Next, Konstantin took us to another city of Loreto, where there is also a basilica. A part of the house of Mary is kept there, where the annunciation of Arch. Gabriel about the conception from the Holy Spirit took place. This part of the house was transported to this city in 1294. The other part remained in the city of Nazareth. We were simply delighted that we touched such shrines.

BRUMA@mail. ru), who did not limit himself to only these specified cities, on the way we drove to the most beautiful city-fortress Gradara, visited outlets, we went to the supermarket. We arrived at 18 pm tired, but happy. Of the whole 2-week trip with the excursion program "Italy-Romance" and rest, we still remember this one-day trip of our dreams the most.
