Just returned from Italy. In awe of the country and Rome. The hotel barely pulls on a three-ruble note. The truth is a convenient location, but the room is a pencil case, gloomy and cold, uncomfortable. Breakfasts are monotonous, only hot coffee, I lived in a single room, I didn’t want to return to the hotel, I only came to sleep, but the pompous entrance to the hotel, beautiful reception, the view from the window into a small courtyard that looks like a well, when it blooms you won’t understand, solid darkness . … More ▾ Just returned from Italy. The hotel is not 4 star. For 3, yes. We were at the beginning of the tour in another hotel of the same chain, I don’t remember the name, by the way it is located very close, it was just 3 stars. So I didn’t notice any difference at all, neither in the interior, nor in the level as a whole, except for the fact that the refrigerator worked in the first one, but not in Archimedes)). … More ▾ The hotel is not 4 star. 4 stars does not match - the refrigerator does not cool - there is not a single hook in the toilet - the room itself is very small - plus the bath does not work on the drain - there are prints of someone's sneakers on the walls - in a word, if you have a choice - do not stop in Archimedes - in any case, avoid … More ▾ 4 stars does not match - the refrigerator does not cool - there is not a single hook in the toilet - the room itself is very small - plus the bath does not work on the drain - there are prints of someone's sneakers on the walls - in a word, if you have a choice - do not stop in Archimedes - in any case, avoid room 315

Not a bad hotel, good 3, although in Rome it goes like 4 stars. Convenient location, standard rooms for a budget stay. Good housekeeping, 3 Russian channels. Just returned from Rome, and I would like to share my fresh impressions about the hotel "Archimedes"
The hotel - the location of the hotel is excellent, Termini Station, where at any time you can buy a train ticket to any part of Italy. In addition, this is the only metro station where there is an intersection of 2 branches. The room is really small, even a bit cramped for two. There are already 3 paintings in the room, so you understand perfectly well that you are in Italy)) At the reception, several people speak Russian, so there were no problems in communication. The fridge and TV worked great, the only thing was the air conditioner was a bit quiet. The room had not very good soundproofing, and since the residents on the floor turned out to be noisy people, they even woke up in the morning to their clatter or talk. There are about 500 churches in Rome, and the hotel is apparently located in close proximity to some, since in the mornings the ringing of bells was clearly heard, and the quacking of ducks / geese / turkeys, apparently cattle at the church, so I had to get up in the morning and close the windows and shutters.
Meals - only breakfasts, absolutely monotonous from day to day. The buffet consisted of: coffee, tea, corn flakes, fruit in juice, buns, cake, croissant, cheese, ham, sausage, butter, apples/pears, and all kinds of jams, portioned chocolate pastes.
The service is decent, they quickly cleaned up the leftovers of food at breakfast, they always put the room in order, the reception staff were very pleasant and polite, towels were changed every day.
We were satisfied with the hotel, if we have the opportunity we will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very conveniently located - near the station, where there is a supermarket, metro, buses. Quiet. Towels are changed daily, room is clean. Breakfasts - sausage and cheese cuts, muesli, cereals, milk, croissants, 2 more types of industrial pastries, butter, honey, jam, fruit compote, fresh fruits - apples, oranges, kiwi, if you get it - yogurt, coffee, tea bags. … More ▾ The hotel is very conveniently located - near the station, where there is a supermarket, metro, buses.

A Russian-speaking girl works at the reception, she can give good advice on where to buy, eat, etc. Recommend for a budget stay.

We stayed at the Archimede 3* hotel on Via Mille! The hotel turned out to be better than my expectations, very comfortable and clean room, although very small (about 12 sqm dowbl), say a single even smaller. A beautiful hall and dining room, breakfasts are normal, as usual in Italy (the rather meager assortment is no longer surprising! ), but the coffee and croissants are excellent! I was also surprised by the Russian-speaking staff, I was shocked. I know that the farther south there are problems even with English-speaking staff. before that we took individual excursions, who knows the prices without comment. Separately, I want to say thank you - the guide Lisa - all 3 days are very interesting and did not even notice how 3 hours of excursions flew by! The negative thing is that you never dine in the Termini area, better in the city. For the first time in Italy they ate burnt pizza, before that this was not allowed anywhere. Better dine in the city. The rest - everything is fine, Rome is a very beautiful city, worth a trip!

Convenient location. Easy to walk to historical sites. Near the metro station with a large supermarket. In nearby establishments, I was surprised by the lack of pizza... The room is a small narrow pencil case with a gloomy interior, where sunlight does not reach (this caused the bedside carpet to "spoil" and stink for half the room). Perhaps other rooms do not have these shortcomings.
Rooms are cleaned only after urgent request.
The breakfast is very weak. About nothing.
Many European pensioners among the residents (plus or minus, you decide).
The strongest point of the hotel is its location.

And we liked it. The room is good. Impressed by their shutters, as you close, FIG you will understand what time it is. Supermarket - next to the topic. in the evening they took salads, mozzarella, wine. Near the mini-cafe - lasagna, spaghetti, etc. (hot) and dinner in the room. The breakfast is tolerable, but the cappuccino could have been tastier. We are going back to Rome. Let's stop right there.

Yep, nice hotel. A plus is that it is located near the station. metro Termini, around you can walk to the Colosseum, pl. Spain, sq. Venice, pl. Popolo and all sorts of other attractions are many. And for young people there are, of course, no clubs nearby, only pubs where you can drink. And so, indeed, a solid "TROYAK", as expected. … More ▾ Yep, nice hotel.
