Hello! Since I happened to visit two hotels and have something to compare with, I will tell you about both. I will not talk about emotions, since it is impossible to describe such an outrage in words, I will give only the facts, and you, draw your own conclusions. Hello! Since I happened to visit two hotels and have something to compare with, I will tell you about both. I will not talk about emotions, since it is impossible to describe such an outrage in words, I will give only the facts, and you, draw your own conclusions.
The Aragonese hotel confirmed the booking on April 14 (tour from June 8-21). Then, due to changes in the flight program, the tour operator postponed the dates (from June 11-25) and the hotel confirmed the single again! We arrived at night, they settled me in a pantry, from which they made a semblance of a room with a 50 cm window and a 65 cm wall, which expanded towards the exit so that you could get through. (everywhere there was information that "all rooms with a balcony" ! ! ) They explained that "only for one night. " But, and for one night you need to change clothes, take a shower and prepare things for tomorrow. There was nothing to breathe in this pantry, I didn’t have to sleep ...In the morning, no one was going to move me, didn’t make a fuss, waited for our guide, who said that “I was waiting for a call in the morning”!
(so everyone knew everything in advance! ). But. However, she was horrified by the pantry and offered to move to the other end of the island, t. there are no rooms in the hotel! ! ! We already had a company with three wonderful married couples, a program of joint excursions was drawn up and I was not going to spend another day moving, no one knows where. Of course, I immediately turned to the tour operator. In the end, the number was "found" ! ! ! 2-seater and offered to move "until Friday". There was nothing to do, the second day of rest was gone, I collected and disassembled things again (the employee did not even think to help, stood and watched me squirm with my suitcase, although I told the guide and at the reception several times that it was hard for me physically because behind! ... )
The other room had a room, a bathroom and a hall. But, it was damp there, because the blinds were closed from the outside, there was no access to sunlight and the laundry did not dry out for 4 days! . .
Wi-Fi is available only at the pool and at the reception, so I had to spend most of the time there to contact the tour operator, resolving the issue of relocation. Representatives of the host company “Iscla Trevel” came to inspect the “pantry room”, then the director of this “company” came (who also had to wait, instead of relaxing at sea! ), apologized for the situation, said that “You are absolutely right, I first looked at the “number” and I apologize! But since there are no rooms in the hotel (the reservation was confirmed 2 months in advance! ! ! ) you have to leave the hotel. "! ! ! He promised that Nina Moroz would arrive on Friday and they would provide 2 options in nearby hotels and offered a tour as a moral compensation (I chose Naples, but they had no options ..., after which they offered to pay for visiting the Poseidon Gardens. ) There was nothing left but to agree. The next day he paid for the ticket at the 27th.
(and I ordered a transfer in their company for our entire company in the 85s + before that the transfer was 50s. : -)
All the days I was worried about where I would be relocated, but there was no information and proposals. At night I packed my things again, on Friday morning I vacated the room and again, instead of resting, I was waiting for the arrival of Nina Moroz (our “guide”, who constantly does not pick up the phone “I'm driving! ”), As the director of Iscla Travel promised. But, Nina called and said that “Francesco (director) is delayed in a traffic jam, we have to wait ...- And you? - What am I, on a motorcycle or something, I will come to you? - she said ...After some time, I was told that I had to pay a double tax, and they "then figure it out", which I refused to do and had to contact the tour operator again ...Then they found out everything and Nina said: "You will pay the hotel 12th and according to this receipt, 2nd more in another hotel, since there should be 14th tax in total. But, it turned out to be a scam! . .
“Aragonese” - [/ b] ham, 2 cheeses a week, margarine, honey, jam, raw smoked sausage (was 2 days, then disappeared) some pastries, cereal, canned peaches. Milk was brought in the milkman for the first time, then - only to the Germans, and to us - a coffee machine ...When the Russian tourists were indignant, why did the Germans have vinegar and butter on the tables, while the Russians had none of this, and, is it really impossible to serve boiled eggs? - they “apologised” to him with two glasses of liquor and, only they put oil and vinegar on the table! . . When there were more Germans, boiled eggs were brought out once. There was another similar case and again a "glass" apology ...
Santa Lucia! " - two varieties of yogurt, canned peaches, prunes, homemade pastries in your own oven and everything else (sausage, cheese, ham, muesli, butter, honey and jams)"
Dinners: “Aragonese” [/ b] - in a stuffy room, without air conditioning, with windows completely closed, - no snacks at all, a very long wait: for the first, a huge plate of pasta or rice (every day! ) in risotto showed off 1-2 mussels) and something for the second. Once there was a delicious fish. Dessert - fruit or a tiny cake, to choose from.
“Santa Lucia” - on a beautiful terrace overlooking the road overlooking the amazingly beautiful sunsets, you could pick up delicious snacks on the buffet until they bring what they ordered in the morning (3 options for the first, 3 options for the second and 2 for dessert! ). Here we tried Iskitanian rabbit, and mussel soup, and melon with ham, and lasagna, and caprese.
Pool:
“Aragonese” is open, you can’t swim in the rain, and in a day it merged completely, in the evening, at night and in the morning it was empty, it was recruited by lunch the next day, so it’s not so easy to get into it.
"Santa Lucia" - an indoor pool, you can swim at any time, in any weather. The upper pool is open - small, did not use.
Beach:
From "Aragonese" - on creepy, slippery stones downhill, along the roadway, dodging cars, stumbling over potholes, just thinking how not to fall (and I go to fitness and to the pool) - go 10 minutes to a bad beach with boats and a large construction site (close) or 20 to medium, quieter, but also wild. The way back is a separate song, after the beach, with bags uphill, in the heat. It is impossible to wash normally, because hot water was only once in 6 days! Instead, water flowed, a little warmer than ice, and no plums helped. Some did not go, resting in the room.
From the hotel "Santa Lucia" - to a simple one, with boats - 10 minutes. , to the beach "Chitara" and Poseidon Gardens 25min. On an asphalt road planted with flowering trees along the sea.
The water was hot all the time, at any time of the day or night. Once something happened, an hour later everything was fixed.
Relationship:
In "Aragonese" they greet and smile at everyone except Russians, often they don't even answer greetings, they speak only Italian, towels are rarely changed, they told me everything about booking.
In "Santa Lucia" - the owner Galina - the very courtesy and charm, her husband Salvatore - speaks English, German, all the staff smile and say hello several times a day! Change of towels daily, you can also ask for extra. You can contact with any question, everyone is ready to help, and, as for the pliers at the reception for repairing sandals, I would hardly be able to find anywhere else!
Draw conclusions, friends! And choose not only a hotel, but also a host company.
“Iscla Travel Viaggi e Turismo” - they threw us everywhere [/ b] (they brought us to the port from the plane, handed out tickets, saying in Italian that the ferry was in an hour and a half, also with check-in. When leaving, they took us to the port, an hour earlier we were dropped out of the car in the heat and we, with suitcases, dragged ourselves to a cafe and back, then to the deck with bags - such a ferry where there was not even a luggage compartment ...Another group was constantly accompanied by a guide from "Intourist" [/ b] , they got on the ferry by bus, without carrying bags everywhere, were able to walk around the neighborhood for a while while we were dying in the sun in a tiny cafe where there was nowhere for people to sit. while we were thrown off the bus, the driver didn't even help to get the suitcase out!... )
