So, Peschiera del Garda, is located on the southeastern tip of the lake, where the Mincio River originates from it or from the Sarca River. Unfortunately, we didn’t walk along the embankment, but we drove through the town 3 times, and only from the car window we saw the citadel with its mighty bastions, high fortress walls, deep ditches, parking lots for steamboats and a very nice walking area.

So, Peschiera del Garda, is located on the southeastern tip of the lake, where the Mincio River originates from it or from the Sarca River. Unfortunately, we didn’t walk along the embankment, but we drove through the town 3 times, and only from the car window we saw the citadel with its mighty bastions, high fortress walls, deep ditches, parking lots for steamboats and a very nice walking area.
The hotel is not located on the lake, but almost next to the autobahn. But the noise from the autobahn was almost inaudible. The hotel has a great large car park. Very friendly staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant. They speak English, a little German, but Russian is a problem.
The room, this is the only place where you should complain a little, well, very small, I think 17 meters were not there.
One small table, on which there is also a TV, well, you just can’t turn around. So the place to unpack was the bed. Whether all 2-bed rooms are like this - I don’t know.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast and the service itself, which is rather unusual for an Italian 3 * hotel. At the entrance to the restaurant you are met by waiters and waitresses in snow-white shirts / blouses and dark vests, they ask you for a room number and escort you to a certain table. They also take orders for drinks: tea / coffee / juices ...and serve them themselves.
Well, the rest of the breakfast is a buffet. And again: fried bacon, and 2 types of fried sausages / sausages, several types of scrambled eggs and cheese and another ...Even the set of meat and cheese cuts was much wider than usual. Several types of croissants and some other pastries...
All this was a pleasant surprise.
There were a lot of families with children, because 2 parks Gardaland and Movieland are very close.
And I even saw a sign in the other direction: safari - park. That's it for such stops and this hotel is perfect.
