The Hotel-Restaurant Commercio*** is located in one of the quiet streets of the town of Salo, which is so well located in the middle of the western shore of Lake Garda and in case of a late arrival, as happened to us, can be chosen as a short stop to start exploring the lake. I must say that the west coast of Garda is not so democratic and hotel prices are higher here, but the atmosphere is completely different. The hotel is simple, but the restaurant and breakfast are quite 4*. The equipment of the room is not intricate, but there is a refrigerator. I was pleased with the balcony where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The lake is literally 200m from the hotel and the morning promenade along the shore after a hearty breakfast will not leave you indifferent. The owners of the hotel are hospitable and ready to help in many matters. Communication in English.
