Rested in April with my wife in this hotel, in principle, everything was pleasant. The room was taken without air conditioning, this was our only mistake. April is the hottest month, previously we were in North Goa in January, it was quite easy to get by with a turntable in the ceiling, but here, of course, it was hard without an air conditioner... But these are all trifles, the hotel is well located relative to the sea and all infrastructure - 5 minutes walk to the sea, everything shops and eateries are nearby, Shofaz supermarket is 15 minutes walk, exchangers, Ayurveda are all nearby, bus stops going to Margao are 5 minutes on the way to the beach. The hotel has a pretty good swimming pool, clean, the hotel itself is all greenery, quite cozy. We got a room on the second floor, everything was in working condition (shower, sockets, turntable), the only negative was that during the day the roof was very hot and it was hot even at night in the room.
The beach is quite clean and wide, if you want a quiet relaxing holiday, it is better to walk to the right or left 350-400 meters, as in the central part of the beach many locals take water procedures. Regarding the prices for food and everything else, many write that it is more expensive here than in the northern part of the state, I would not say that, the prices are almost the same, we didn’t feel much difference, the only difference is that it’s quieter here and there as many parties as in the northern part, but here, in fact, who came for what.
We didn't take a tour, we arranged everything ourselves. We agreed with a local taxi driver for 2400 rupees for three, rolled up to the beaches of Palolem and Cola, left at 9 am, returned to the hotel closer to 4 pm. They also went for two days to Hampi in a neighboring state. I tell you how easy it is to do this - take a bus in Colva, get to Margao (15 rupees per person one way). In Margao, take a tuk-tuk and tell him that you need the Paolo Travel agency (70 rupees it costs to get there). In the agency itself, you take tickets for the Slipper bus (a bus with sleeping places), we took a bus with air conditioning, a one-way ticket cost 1000 rupees per person, be sure to ask about the place of departure of the bus, as a rule, the stop is 100 meters from the agency. Departure at 10 pm, you will be at the place at 7 am. Such a trip went to us for two for everything about everything with accommodation there and meals for $ 80 (at a tour operator an excursion per person costs $ 150) Who are interested in the details, I will answer with pleasure! In Margao itself, be sure to visit the market, a large selection of spices, teas and more.

In general, they were satisfied with the rest at the hotel and the trip to South Goa itself, as they were at the end of the season, there were few people, the prices were reasonable for everything, it was very easy to bargain, the only negative was that it was hot compared to autumn and winter.
