Stayed at this hotel from 2/03/2018 to 13/03/2018. Gentlemen, thank you in advance if you read my review to the end. Rather, this is not even a review, it is a cry from the heart. I have never seen such indifference and indifference to the problems of their guests. Checked into room 408 around 12.00. This is normal, as it were, a European standard, there were no special questions, although in other hotels, lower class, they settle immediately and immediately feed breakfast.

Colva Kinara is your own style and schedule, okay, let's go.
At the request, upon check-in, to give a room with windows on the village, and not on a restaurant and a noisy street, they dismissed it, such as there are no rooms. Well, okay, I thought we’d survive, we are picky people, we’ll live with a window to the restaurant. There was no talk about breakfast after the flight, transfer, and it’s not supposed to be with them. ))) And the situation is as follows: you arrive early in the morning, without local money, the exchange offices are closed, hungry, and you will not only have a bite to eat, they will not even offer you to drink water. Live as you know, at least die, they don't care. I got exactly that impression. But these are trifles. )))
On the first night, we were bitten by bedbugs !!!!!!! ! It was a shock! In the morning, waking up, I went to the reception, showed bite marks on my body and on the body of my wife, demanded to change the number. The answer is no numbers. Thanks, we're relieved.
The dudes came, sprinkled some super smelly crap in the room, and left. THIS IS ALL!!!!!!
In short, we were food for Indian bed bugs....
Then the air conditioner in our room broke down, music played in the restaurant almost around the clock, they had a HOLI holiday....
With all this, tourists were leaving daily, others were settling in, but we still didn’t change the number....
To my daily requests, replace the reaction number - 0
Replaced only on the 9th (!!!! ) day of stay...... THANK YOU....
Unfortunately, there were also these damn bugs.....
Worst vacation ever in my life. . .
It was no longer even a vacation, but a struggle for survival...
Yes, I forgot, I called the representative of the ANEX tour, asked for help, up to changing the hotel. The answer was expected, there are no places, the hotels are full, I can’t help....
Here's a sad story that happened to me.
This review is not written to convince other people not to go to this hotel, but if you decide, know that this can happen to you too.
To all who have read my review to the end, I want to wish strength, health, positive, and a good rest! You are PAYING good money for this.

And there is also a view of the garbage dump and the swamp. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed every day, bedding was changed 3 times in 10 days . . The problem was that there were three of us in the room, and they brought everything for two, we had to walk and pester them to give one more person. This was our entertainment, because then they began to bring 6 towels and everything else. Tipping was 10 rupees. There was a kettle, cups, glasses, a thermos for cold water. Bottled water, tea, coffee, sugar and milk powder were brought every day. Soap and shampoo provided as needed. Breakfast for us, three aunts, was normal, the peasants would not like it, they never gave meat. The hotel is located in a convenient location, a 10-minute walk to the beach along the street, past the shops, after all, entertainment. We talked with other tourists, were in other hotels and came to the conclusion that our hotel is located most successfully.

GOA report. We were in India for the first time, we lived in Colva Kinara, quite to ourselves. The exchange for a dollar was not bad, 61.5 was changed there in the same place. We ate in necks, sometimes we bought shawarma, ate to the left of the beach in SUKORINA sheke, ate sharks, black flounder, red perch, tuna (dry), sizzlers (sizzling pans), steaks, shrimp, etc.

GOA report.
We were in India for the first time, we lived in Colva Kinara, quite to ourselves.
The exchange for a dollar was not bad, 61.5 was changed there in the same place.
We ate in necks, sometimes we bought shawarma,
ate to the left of the beach in SUKORINA sheke, ate sharks, black flounder, red perch, tuna (dry), sizzlers (sizzling pans), steaks, shrimp, etc. Cheap and tasty for our money. Washed down with light Kingfisher beer.
In the evening they arrange Russian discos and discos of the 80s.
They don't cheat. Portions are BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Calculate your strength! The fish plate (assorted) was hard for four adults to eat.
Large open fridge stocked with all kinds of fish, down to lobsters.
Tom served us, speaks decent Russian, is full of quiet dignity and calmness.
Who will be there, demand Tom, say hello from Matvey and demand a discount on custom-made fish,
he knows.
They tried to enter other necks, in Antonio they tried to cheat during the day on one beer for 170 rupees,
scored: the best is the enemy of the good.
Excursions:
-night market - wild traffic jams, there is nothing to buy, everything is cheaper in Colva. So, hang out, eat, drink beer and listen to live music, look at the aged hips as traders. Exotic.
- monkey waterfalls + spice garden loved it
- Murdeshwar with a statue of Shiva - of course
Tea is the cheapest, the best and at a fixed price - right in Colva, in a tea house.
Ayurveda is an obligatory highlight of the program, we were fully loaded.
We regret that we did not stock up on silver, the people in Moscow were checked - everything is of high quality.
6 km. from the beach there is a supermarket (consists of 2 rooms), it is good to stock up on booze, cheese, buns, etc.
I want to go to Mumbai on my next trip.

We decided to go away from Kyiv for the May holidays....a tour turned up in Goa, carefully studied all the reviews about this place and flew... immediately upon arrival in Dabolim, we saw the heat from the heat, as it turned out, the comfortable weather season ended and in anticipation of the start of the rainy season (from the end of May to October) there is an abnormal heat.

The Colva Kinara hotel is probably not bad for India... they settled immediately and without problems... a room on the second floor... a balcony... a safe... an air conditioner... relatively clean and comfortable, the view from the window is to the hotel pool , no living creatures were noticed in the room, but if you open the window in the evening, mosquitoes and mosquitoes fly in; I was somewhat surprised by the "flight of thought" of the types who designed the hotel building....for the first time I met such a creative solution for the exhaust ventilation of the toilet leading to the corridor of the hotel... with all the stinking consequences that follow from this creative. . . especially in the morning. . . maybe it's customary among Indians. . .
Separately, I want to draw the attention of future visitors - DO NOT TAKE a tour with breakfasts, because they are not available as such... well, you can’t call breakfast what the hotel has been offering for all these days - bread, butter, jam / tea, coffee is edible. . . then every day the same type, on request, fried an omelette - also edible, but after 3-4 days it starts to flatten... there was still a pitiful semblance of a buffet with four pans (namely four): in the first, as a rule , there was still the same bread, in the second - an unidentified slurry from vegetables with some leaves (usually this slurry was happily eaten by hotel employees who had breakfast after tourists), in the third pan there was always oatmeal (judging by its color - one and the same during my whole stay at the hotel), in the fourth pot - sometimes there were some kind of vegetable donuts, and sometimes something like couscous without salt and other ingredients, and NEVER DURING THESE DAYS WAS THERE NOT THAT WHICH WOULD BE OFFERED FOR BREAKFAST MEAT OR FISH, AND AT LEAST A HINT OF SOY SAUSAGE : ) yes, I almost forgot - there was also a "fruit table" with watermelon juice, sprouted soybeans and a basin with something like kefir... in such a combination and assortment... milk with cucumbers was clearly not enough to complete this series....there was nothing else... no vegetables, no pastries, i. e. nothing at all...
As one lady wrote on this site about breakfasts in Colva Kinara ". . . you will not stay hungry" - theoretically, of course, she is right, but ask yourself the question - why did you conscientiously give for the tour for your own money (moreover, the cost of the tour in Colva Kinara is higher than in the 5 stars of the same Makadi Bay or Hurghada and is comparable to a tour to Thailand), should be fed the diet of a homeless shelter.
The beach - everything is as the previous authors wrote - at the entrance there is a crowd of locals, a clear feeling of being in a zoo, only on the other side of the enclosure: hundreds of eyes are staring at you... annoying. Unfortunately, the experience of the "experienced" about the beach could not be used and the advice ". . walk 300 meters to the right or left... dine in such and such a neck" was not useful... by this moment almost everything on the beach was closed... it was only possible to go to Sukorina, where almost all the white tourists remaining in this part of Kolva clustered together. . 30-35 people. let "Indian tourists" into the shake... I encounter a similar phenomenon for the first time in many years of travel - as soon as any lady (regardless of age) got up from a sun lounger and went to the surf, a crowd immediately ran out of nowhere (5.10 snouts) of the locals and the show began... they intently examined the object of their desire, emotionally discussing what they saw, then they stood near the water, waiting for her to go back, continued to stare after her without taking their eyes off... it all resembled a scene from an old cartoon " Mowgli, where is the monkey and could not take their eyes off Kaa's boa constrictor... a vile sight in a word... they were regularly chased by the beach patrol and Vikki... but the show went on several times every day... given that local aunts bathe in outerwear, apparently the sight of European ladies in bathing suits for these "Indian tourists" was something like a free striptease. . .
It was because of this "friendly atmosphere" on the Colva beach that we went to rest on other beaches - Papillon, Cola, Muber where we did not meet such preoccupied people. Thanks to the taxi driver Elvis - he showed us many interesting places: we went with him every day to Pananji, Morgao and other towns in southern Goa, we also went to Hampi with him and were able to see this place in one day. And also, given the prices for excursions offered by the tour operator, with Elvis it came out twice, and sometimes three times cheaper. Taxi prices are also significantly different, those drivers who have rented cars ask more for the trip....we are apparently lucky - the season is almost over... there is little work for a taxi, in addition, Elvis has his own car - that's what happened with him arrange for the whole time of our stay cheaply.
As a result, I liked the trip, as for me, you can go to Goa once for educational purposes, but I won’t go there the second time... I see no reason to waste time and money where at least minimal efforts are not made to ensure a paid level service and safety of guests.

The hotel is not old, the rooms are not bad enough. There are comments about the service, they do not change bed linen, you need to be reminded that if you do not leave a tip, you can forget to change the towels. Settlement until 12 noon (if you arrived at 6 am) costs $ 20, which is also outraged. I had to prove that the bed for the child was paid for (they didn’t want to bring it).

From the hotel to the beach 10 minutes past shops and shops. You can buy T-shirts, cotton tunics for about 3-5 dollars. There are better and more expensive things, but there is not much to choose from. Cheap shells and souvenirs. The most useful purchases are cosmetics from Ayurvedic pharmacies - shampoos, soaps, tonics, masks. creams, etc. Beautiful jewelry, especially bracelets with rubies, sapphires, garnets, etc. , but in silver, because the gold is of some suspicious color. The price is also pleasant. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT BARGAIN IN 2 TIMES!!!!!!!!!
Connoisseurs of Turkey and relaxation in the pool in Goa have nothing to do. Insanely beautiful beaches, many seafood cafes, prices are very affordable, lobster costs 185 UAH (1200 rupees), raw king prawns 46 UAH per 1 kilogram. You can buy at the market in Margao, drive 15 minutes. Therefore, I advise you to buy a spiral electric furnace, it weighs 2 kg, it costs 100 UAH. And of course take an aluminum pan with you. This is for the special shrimp lovers. Very tasty mango, fresh juices, strong rum, but very aromatic. In Margao, in general, there are a lot of tasty things on the market: dried shrimp, various dried fish for beer, shark, etc.
Unfortunately, in May, all cafes on the beach are closed. It starts to rain. The excursion to the waterfall is unforgettable, the spices are also interesting, the elephant is interesting for children. It is worth going to Cola beach and fishing.
On the street there are dumps, dogs, cows, but India without this is not India. Heels, thongs and makeup are absolutely not appropriate, although there were such specimens that looked very funny. In general, a vacation in Goa is a complete relaxation from all the stress in everyday life.

We flew through AirArabia, the planes are good, new, but there is one BUT and this is significant. From Odessa to Sharjah they didn’t feed, they didn’t even give water for free, you have to pay for everything. I thought they would feed me after the transplant, NO. From Sharjah to GOA the same story. I meet this for the first time. You can have a bite to eat in Sharjah between flights, there is a cafe in the waiting room. Arrived at 5 o'clock. in the morning, and check-in, as elsewhere, at 12-14h. At the reception they said that the slave. who cleans up comes at 10. Well, we sat down and waited. After 3 min. we were told there was a room. The room turned out to be one of the worst. The window overlooked a meadow with palm trees, a grove of palm trees, the main street, the beach, although it was covered with palm trees. Therefore, from our balcony you could see everything 317 No. They gave it without extra charge, at the end of the holiday they gave the guy at the reception 5 dollars. and chocolate. The hotel is good, despite the 3 stars. Good location in the center. To the beach 7 min. walk, past the malls, shops, cafes. You can go to the beach through the center. entrance, you can turn right at the first crossroads, walk 3 minutes. and to the left and exit right at the neck of Boomerang (there are signs) A wide, beautiful beach. True, we got to the Spring Festival and Catholic Easter, so for 5 days there were many Indians who constantly photographed us. It bothered me at first, but then I got used to it. The sun is strong, take anti-sun cream necessarily. The territory of the hotel is small, there is a pool with a bar and a cafe. Breakfasts: fried eggs as you like, potatoes, chicken in sauce (sometimes), butter, jams, buns (not rich), watermelon, papaya, various fresh juices, tea, coffee (terrible nesscafe). Little, but you can live. In the SERVISROOM you can order French fries, fish, chicken for an affordable price, there is a brochure in the room with prices. In a cafe, dinner is 1000-1100 rupees. i. e. 200 UAH. for 2 with alcohol. If you have dinner in the neck: shark, barracuda, etc. 1200-1600 rupees. i. e. 350 UAH. for 2 with alcohol. Order fish 1 for 2, it is with salad and fries, enough. Rum is in the bar a bottle of 0.750g. 50 UAH In the shop 28 UAH. As for clothes, souvenirs, bargain, reduce by 2 times, it works. Were on excursions: Mundyshvar, Gokarna, fishing, and complex: waterfall, pl. spices, old GOA (normal). Good guides, they tell interesting stories (DREAM agency on the main street). Tour agents are more expensive. India is a very poor country with 60 percent of the population living below the poverty line. For the infrastructure of tourists, everything is done to a minimum (like it will do) out of hopelessness you accept because there are no options. I mean the necks of their toilets, old, rusty sun loungers, cafes, shops and, in general, the attitude of Indians to life in the pursuit of a better life, they don’t need it and they are so good. I really wanted to visit India happened! But I probably won't go there anytime soon. IT WORTH TO GO! Look at another country's culture, way of life, nature in GOA, it is amazing!! !

We saw him only when we left the hotel drunk in an unbalanced state. The first day was ruined because of him!! ! In general, the town or village is calm. It is better to change money in a cafe on the beach in Boomerang. Near the hotel they give very little for the dollar. Near the hotel there is an Indian named Shaffi, with him it’s good to go on excursions. Prices are acceptable, but not the lowest difference of 5-7 dollars, but he won’t let you down, he will arrive on time. Will tell a lot. He will show places where many do not take tourists, but it is very beautiful there. There are many Russians. Go you won't regret it.

The hotel is very good, well, at least - by Indian standards - that's for sure. Immediately from the minuses: of course, there is no safe either in the room or at the reception, but they accept the packed documents and money for safekeeping and provide them upon request; the second minus is that some of the rooms have a picturesque view of the garbage, but this does not really interfere, since you rarely visit the room anyway and the balcony is often closed, as it is hot and the air conditioner is working.

I only had breakfast - monotonous, but not bad. Pros: the rooms are fresh, everything is in order, the furniture is new, they are cleaned quite well. The staff is friendly. There is really Wi-Fi in the lobby and it's really free, so the issue of calls to the homeland disappears immediately, we use Skype and zero problems!!!
It is about five minutes walk to the beach, Colva beach is really one of the best, because for the sake of interest, I took a taxi to many beaches in both the south and north of Goa, ideal for a family vacation. There are a lot of shakes (cafes) on the beach, for myself I identified several where I mostly sunbathed and ate: to the left of the central exit to the beach - Papillon (the owner of the establishment is called Marcel, you will recognize him right away - he looks more like a Portuguese than an Indian) and Sukorin (the owner's name is Ben, he is also easy to recognize - he has the most European appearance of all), to the right - Boomerang and Silver Spoon. The cuisine is about the same everywhere, the prices are the same, so the choice is yours, you have never experienced any stomach troubles. Without saving much on myself, for lunch and dinner (including alcohol), on average, it took about 800 rupees a day (the exchange rate is about 1 rupee - 70 kopecks). From alcohol: very good local rum Old Monk (Old Monk), liqueur (or as it is called white rum for some reason) Cabo, port wine Seven is also worth a try, and of course King Fisher Premium beer !!
There is a very interesting old man in the neck of Boomerang who does massage, 500 rupees from ears to toes, I recommend trying it.
Starting from Friday, Indians from local villages and villages gather on the beach for weekend pleasures !! ! They thump, have fun, photograph White people, but do not interfere !!! ! The central part of the beach is given to them at the mercy, they are not allowed to the right or left of it, protecting the peace of tourists, the Rescuers monitor this. In the hotel, the number of "local" guests also increases significantly, but for them everything is separate - a separate feeder, separate entertainment, etc.
The only big minus of the Colva village is the complete lack of entertainment!!!! ! Boredom to death! ! If you need a quiet beach holiday - you are here, if you need action - by no means !!!! ! Margarita's only club is a gay club!! ! old imported grandfathers come here in droves for young Indians ! ! Horror!!
On excursions that do not involve long-distance travel (waterfalls, spices, elephants, night market), it is better to go with taxi drivers, you collect a company of 5-6 people and go ! ! It comes out about six times cheaper than tour operators.
Of all the excursions, I would especially single out the market at night, it works only on Saturdays from 18.30 to 02.00 like, but it's not only shopping (and you can buy interesting things there) but also the Goa entertainment center on Saturday ! ! what kind of characters can not be found here!! ! Neither lovers of Goan trance, nor connoisseurs of the good old rock and punk will be bored! , and all this coexists in a very small area!! ! Well, everything else is like everywhere else: flora and fauna, ruins, etc. etc.
Thus, you need to see Goa at least once, Colva Kinara is a very good place to stay. Well, then it all depends on the mood with which you go on vacation!! ! Good luck!
