I came to India for the first time and rested in this hotel in December 2013. Having read earlier about this country, I did not expect comfort and, in general, everything was fine. But the truth is in comparison!! ! In 2014, she rested in a nearby calangute. Big difference, as it turns out. And the streets are wider and the people are friendlier. And most importantly, the same 2 * hotel was simply luxurious. But about him another time. Baga itself is located on the outskirts and you can’t approach the sea except directly or to the left. The beach is about 10 minutes away. On the right is a mountain behind which there is also a beach. You can swim there until low tide. after low tide the rocks are exposed.... Now about the hotel itself. They will check you in only at 11 if you do not give $ 20. And they will give you a room where you can only leave your things and leave. No refrigerator or air conditioner, only a fan, the furniture is terrible. You won't even find one like this in the trash heaps. Breakfasts are funny - 2 toasts, jam and butter. On the beach in the necks, prices bite (this is all in comparison with Calangute) since there are few competitors. The only thing I recommend is the restaurant in the hotel. The guys work sincerely, try and cook delicious food. I took the complex during the day for only 400 rupees and had enough for lunch and dinner, as the portions are huge and the appetite is not very good in the heat. The room was hardly cleaned. Only the bed was smoothed out and the floor was swept away with something like a rag. None of the things were missing, although the room just slammed shut because it was impossible to close it with a key. A padlock would be very helpful. The pool is good, the water is clean. The pool is cleaned daily. The hotel has 2 pools, but I never got to the second one and therefore I can’t say anything. Of the pluses - there is a market nearby where you can not only buy something but also listen to live music. There is also a house-museum where a sculptor lives and where you can take pictures with beautiful statues. India is a wonderful country for recreation and if you are not very pretentious, you will be comfortable everywhere there.
