This was our first trip to Goa, so the hotel was chosen carefully, although, of course, it is quite difficult to combine a reasonable price with decent comfort in India, the local color seems to get in the way. The hotel is new and located near the beach, these are its main advantages. Our room 303 was located on the top, 4th floor of the hotel, as if on its roof, I think that we had the best view from the balcony - to the pool (not bad, but we never used it) and towards the ocean.
In the room: a large bed, a wardrobe with a safe and a small refrigerator, but, unfortunately, we did not find a single coat hanger in the wardrobe, an LCD TV with an abundance of Indian channels, two bedside tables, two chairs and a coffee table, yes, air conditioning, ceiling fan, kettle complete with a couple of cups. Everything works, but when moving in, do not forget to immediately check the completeness and operability of the equipment. Our safe turned out to be locked, the kettle had only a stand, the batteries were dead in the air conditioner remote control. It is better to identify all this at once, because the Indians are, to put it mildly, not very quick people, and these problems can be solved in a day or two. Be prepared for the fact that the air conditioner will turn on only 2-3 minutes after you return to the room, a voltage stabilizer is installed there, and it turns on the air conditioner with a delay. We did not take a deposit upon check-in.
In the room, during our 9-day stay, the floor was washed and towels changed only twice and after our repeated urgent requests. In general, the impression is that the Indian teenagers, from which the cleaners are recruited, are busy only mopping the floors in the corridors and rarely cleaning the rooms before the arrival of new guests.

We have never seen a breakfast like this before. Despite the presence of a kitchen in the hotel, the services of which were used by guests in the evening, breakfast consisted only of toast, jam, butter, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs and some strange porridge, like our semolina. This is all. Fortunately, there was a refrigerator and a kettle in the room, we bought everything we needed for a normal breakfast ourselves and had breakfast in the room. Instant coffee was taken from home in advance.
From the hotel to the beach go 300 meters, first along a narrow dusty street, then along the path among the sand dunes. The beach is full of sun loungers with awnings, you buy juice or beer in the nearest neck (cafe) and you can lie there at least all day. The beach is simply huge, with a gently sloping safe bottom, quite clean and sparsely populated, a lot of people from Russia. There are few beggars and intrusive sellers, the notorious cows were not noticed at all.
In the evening, the area around the hotel was usually quiet, the whole party, apparently, was concentrated on the neighboring beaches. The lanterns taken from the house were very useful, after 19 hours the night begins, the streets are poorly lit, the beach is generally full of darkness.
We didn’t take any excursions, we went to Fort Aguada, Old Goa, Panaji (a taxi for the whole day cost 2500 rupees) and to the night market in Arpora (we paid 1000 rupees). We were satisfied with what we saw, the market is worth a visit, if only because of its color, but there are few quality goods and the prices are very high, it is better to take the same pearls in Panaji in a state store with normal fixed price tags. By the way, you can get to Panaji from Morjdim just for a penny on a regular bus through Mapusa, round trip for two for about 100 rupees. Bus terminus near the Turtle Beach Resort, flights from 7 am every 20 minutes, in Mapusa at the bus station, look for a bus to Panaji (the route is written in English on the windshield) and in just 1 hour and almost free you are in the state capital. Buses, of course, are dead, but such a trip in itself is like a little adventure.
