The hotel spoiled the whole impression of India! We were settled not in the building that we bought, but in the old disgusting one next door. We spent three days of rest sitting at the reception in order to achieve relocation. As a result, they moved to a new building. For 10 days they never cleaned, we used the same dirty towel both on the beach and in the shower.

For 10 days they never cleaned, we used the same dirty towel both on the beach and in the shower. Air conditioning and safe did not work at all. There were ants in the room. Absolutely arrogant staff, you can achieve something only for good money. In the evening you won’t go out to the sea, you need to go through the field, it’s dark and scary. Breakfast-tea-Burda and bread and butter covered with flies. It’s also scary to go to dinner, there is no lighting. I don’t advise anyone !!! ! Nightmare, not a hotel...

This was our first trip to Goa, so the hotel was chosen carefully, although, of course, it is quite difficult to combine a reasonable price with decent comfort in India, the local color seems to get in the way. The hotel is new and located near the beach, these are its main advantages. Our room 303 was located on the top, 4th floor of the hotel, as if on its roof, I think that we had the best view from the balcony - to the pool (not bad, but we never used it) and towards the ocean.

The hotel is new and located near the beach, these are its main advantages. Our room 303 was located on the top, 4th floor of the hotel, as if on its roof, I think that we had the best view from the balcony - to the pool (not bad, but we never used it) and towards the ocean.
In the room: a large bed, a wardrobe with a safe and a small refrigerator, but, unfortunately, we did not find a single coat hanger in the wardrobe, an LCD TV with an abundance of Indian channels, two bedside tables, two chairs and a coffee table, yes, air conditioning, ceiling fan, kettle complete with a couple of cups. Everything works, but when moving in, do not forget to immediately check the completeness and operability of the equipment. Our safe turned out to be locked, the kettle had only a stand, the batteries were dead in the air conditioner remote control. It is better to identify all this at once, because the Indians are, to put it mildly, not very quick people, and these problems can be solved in a day or two. Be prepared for the fact that the air conditioner will turn on only 2-3 minutes after you return to the room, a voltage stabilizer is installed there, and it turns on the air conditioner with a delay. We did not take a deposit upon check-in.
In the room, during our 9-day stay, the floor was washed and towels changed only twice and after our repeated urgent requests. In general, the impression is that the Indian teenagers, from which the cleaners are recruited, are busy only mopping the floors in the corridors and rarely cleaning the rooms before the arrival of new guests.
We have never seen a breakfast like this before. Despite the presence of a kitchen in the hotel, the services of which were used by guests in the evening, breakfast consisted only of toast, jam, butter, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs and some strange porridge, like our semolina. This is all. Fortunately, there was a refrigerator and a kettle in the room, we bought everything we needed for a normal breakfast ourselves and had breakfast in the room. Instant coffee was taken from home in advance.
From the hotel to the beach go 300 meters, first along a narrow dusty street, then along the path among the sand dunes. The beach is full of sun loungers with awnings, you buy juice or beer in the nearest neck (cafe) and you can lie there at least all day. The beach is simply huge, with a gently sloping safe bottom, quite clean and sparsely populated, a lot of people from Russia. There are few beggars and intrusive sellers, the notorious cows were not noticed at all.
In the evening, the area around the hotel was usually quiet, the whole party, apparently, was concentrated on the neighboring beaches. The lanterns taken from the house were very useful, after 19 hours the night begins, the streets are poorly lit, the beach is generally full of darkness.
We didn’t take any excursions, we went to Fort Aguada, Old Goa, Panaji (a taxi for the whole day cost 2500 rupees) and to the night market in Arpora (we paid 1000 rupees). We were satisfied with what we saw, the market is worth a visit, if only because of its color, but there are few quality goods and the prices are very high, it is better to take the same pearls in Panaji in a state store with normal fixed price tags. By the way, you can get to Panaji from Morjdim just for a penny on a regular bus through Mapusa, round trip for two for about 100 rupees. Bus terminus near the Turtle Beach Resort, flights from 7 am every 20 minutes, in Mapusa at the bus station, look for a bus to Panaji (the route is written in English on the windshield) and in just 1 hour and almost free you are in the state capital. Buses, of course, are dead, but such a trip in itself is like a little adventure.

It was the second time in India, so there is something to compare. When you go to India, you need to understand that there will be no service and recreation as in Europe, Turkey and Egypt! People go to India not for service, but for the amazing sea, incredible atmosphere, exotic fruits and impressions! You need to be prepared for dirt on the roads, wild traffic, unlit streets in villages and dogs! I am not talking about cows, they do not cause any inconvenience, especially in Morjim.

You need to be prepared for dirt on the roads, wild traffic, unlit streets in villages and dogs! I am not talking about cows, they do not cause any inconvenience, especially in Morjim. But with regards to the hotel, this new hotel is kept at the level of almost European (renovation), but in the conditions of India!
Upon check-in, the friendly staff brought fresh watermelon juice as a gift))) Every day, at the request of the vacationer, cleaning is done. In the room they leave a bottle of water for each guest, soap, shampoo, paper. what I liked is that they don’t touch money (unlike Turkey and Spain) if you yourself don’t say that there is money in the room for tea to the cleaner). The hotel has a massage therapist (very good massage).
Breakfast is a choice of porridge or standard for the whole of India - scrambled eggs and toasts with jam and butter, and fruit salad, coffee / tea. The staff is again very friendly. When leaving, they were taken by car to the meeting point with Pegasus, and in order not to be left alone on the road at night, the boy from the hotel was waiting with us, put us on the bus). The hotel has Wi-Fi, the hotel is new, there were interruptions with it, as well as with hot water - it was cool several times in the evening! All the furniture is new, we walked in the rooms barefoot, everything is clean, the rooms have air conditioning, a fan, a safe, a refrigerator! In general, the impressions about the hotel are only positive! It's about the hotel itself! But behind the hotel... to the beach 200-300 meters along the path through the field. You go out to the necks on the beach and you can relax both in the more crowded necks, and to the right - in the deserted ones) if you go in the opposite direction from the hotel you will meet a couple of stalls-shops. From the main road where you can take a taxi far, about 10 minutes on foot, but in the evening the road is not lit, brought down by phones. Or you can call a taxi at the reception or rent a bike, then there are no problems. In general, it’s quiet in Morjim in the evenings, so you either have fun in your room on the balcony, or you can find a cafe in Morjim that you still need to get to through the dark streets (we went to Casablanca and Paradise - if through the beach - 10-15 minutes, but it's dark), or take a bike or taxi and ride around the neighboring villages))))
