This is not the first time I have traveled around Israel, but the first time I flew to this wonderful country not as a tourist, but as a tourism worker)) therefore, the impressions of hotels and excursions were completely different.
My current trip started from Tel Aviv from the Mercure hotel, where I rested for the first 3 days.
From the pros:
- proximity to the sea (the hotel is on the 2nd line, walk to the beach for 10 minutes at a calm pace)
- within walking distance of the ancient port of Jaffa and the Carmelit market
- the presence of Russian-speaking staff, and on the day and night shifts at the reception there was a person who spoke Russian
- very tasty breakfasts, especially fruit salads (plus wonderful people working in the restaurant)
- cozy clean rooms
- large bathroom
- daily cleaning with change of towels
- there is a kettle, refrigerator
- five minutes from the hotel there is a 24-hour supermarket AM: PM (a large selection of products and various small things)
- there is a pharmacy two minutes away
- next to the hotel bus stop, easy to get to the total. transport from anywhere in Tel Aviv
Of the minuses:
- if you do not live on the upper floors, then the view from the window will be on neighboring houses (in construction) and there will be a small piece of the sea
- quite noisy from the street (especially if it's Friday evening/night)))
- old hotel
That is, there are cons, but if you find fault)) The hotel is perfect for business trips and for lovers of Tel Aviv.
