We rested for 10 days in the second half of March (the weather is great, but at the beginning of March other tourists complained that the weather was not very good) at the Grand Bali Beach 5 * hotel (Inna Grand Bali Beach 4 *) I want to immediately draw attention to the fact that these names belong to one hotel, but vouchers are sold there as in 4 and 5 * hotels, we will explain how it is. Inna Grand Bali Beach was the original name but after the main high rise was built. the building, it became 5 *, because of this, those buildings that were built earlier are not in the best condition and are only 4, although there is only one territory, the main building and everything else in common. Perhaps it is more convenient so that there are no problems with tourists. I’ll note right away that I won’t criticize or praise the hotel very much, because it all depends on the person and the amount that the vacationer expects. If you have the means to choose a 5 * good hotel, then you should not choose this one if you are offered it as a five, if you are somewhat limited in budget and choose between threes or fours, then the hotel is not bad. Much depends on who chooses a hotel according to what criteria. Room: I’ll also honestly say that we didn’t like the room, the style of furniture wicker with wooden inserts gives the impression of old grandmother’s furniture, although it’s also an amateur, the faucets in the bathroom are also outdated, although serviceable (you won’t complain about this), the ceilings look like they once it was flooded with water (it would not hurt to whiten it), but we immediately reassured ourselves that there would not be enough money for a super hotel 5 that corresponds to this figure and we didn’t come to sit in the room. (The room was not in the main building, but in 2-storey houses). Benefits 2nd floor. houses, that they are conveniently located next to the pool, the main building, in which the restaurant with breakfast, on the shore of the ocean itself - 1 minute walk, maybe even less. I must say right away that the room has: tea accessories, slippers, bathrobes, toiletries for one person (and not according to the number of guests), there is no safe, an adapter is needed for sockets. At first they were afraid that there was no safe, but they left everything in the room, sometimes without closing the bags, no one took anything, the staff is very good, everyone smiles, they try to understand, fulfill requests, the main thing is not to tell them, but just ask or explain in a friendly way and then they will fulfill the request much faster. As for breakfasts, at first I read reviews that breakfasts are bad and monotonous, here my dears, I can bet my husband and I are food lovers and were preparing for hungry continental breakfasts, but we were surprised. For breakfast, you can eat so much that you definitely don’t want to have lunch, except for all sorts of sweets, buns, tea and coffee, scrambled eggs and sausages, there are always salads that you can eat, chips, potatoes, rice, rice noodles, pasta, sometimes battered chicken, fruits and natural juices, and regardless of whether you came first or last, eat food - they bring it if something runs out. Moreover, potatoes and rice are cooked differently every day or every other day. Breakfast is not inferior to Egyptian or Turkish in 5 * hotels. (Of course, if you are the chef of some trendy restaurant, then you may not like this breakfast). As for food in cafes or local restaurants, keep in mind that they add about 21% of the service order plus to the bill, but be careful when trying to deceive, outwit. Good service and there is something to eat at the Pizzeria on the beach of the hotel, they did not try to deceive us there, but they also brought us to the room without surcharges for it. Be aware that the hotel takes a $100 deposit when you check in, if you do not use anything and do not break or steal anything, then the money will be returned upon departure. But it’s more convenient to eat by buying something in the supermarket, it’s inexpensive there and there is a free minibus from the hotel to the store every 45 minutes and back as well. The territory of the hotel is excellent, interesting pictures when you go to your house, wonderful landscaping, next to it is a diamond-shaped hall located on the street, where local wedding ceremonies are held - very interesting! The territory is large, there is where to walk, but there is little entertainment, if you are going to hang out - then the hotel is not for you and in general in the Sanur district, where it is located, there is no such nightlife, it is better to go to Kuta, there are clubs, discos and bars, but in the area Kuta is more developed theft. Beach: I’ll immediately dispel the myth of white sands, the sand, of course, is not like ours on a river or the sea and not like on the Red Sea, for example, but whiter, but not white like in the Dominican Republic. The fact that the beaches are clean also does not turn around, because the beaches are public and not the hotel's own, you can find leaves, cigarette butts, lighters or bottles there, although garbage cans are everywhere. The ocean is clear, it is interesting to watch the ebb and flow, which do not interfere with swimming. Do not forget that the sun is very active there. Vacationers: Australians, Germans, some Russian Japanese. Now about the rest in general, it is on about. Bali, if you still choose to go or not to this place: You must immediately understand what to expect from Bali, what you got from Egypt or Turkey all inclusive - it's useless like waiting for snow in the summer, this is an exotic place, distinguished by its originality. If you want to hear the singing of birds that you have never heard, see lizards - salamanders or monitor lizards, see large butterflies, crabs, spiders, American squirrels, other stars, sunsets and sunrises (which are really different from ours), and you are not afraid cockroaches, rats and ants - which are a symbol of an ideal ecological environment for living organisms, swim in the ocean, then you should go to Bali, because at least once you need to see and feel it. In general, we were satisfied with the rest, the hotel - good value for money! If you decide to go there, then my advice to you is to bring a raptor or something from mosquitoes, as well as sunscreen with protection of at least 25 and after 10 am it is better not to stay in the sun, and it is desirable not to be in the shade from one to half three.
