My feelings from Bali (September 12)
After 2 months since returning from Bali, I decided to add my review about this beautiful corner of the globe, I hope that some moments from it will be useful to future travelers. In the review I will try to avoid those points that were fully disclosed earlier.
So, do I recommend visiting Bali? Definitely yes! Will I go there a second time - I'm not sure, maybe after some time... )
I would like to advise future travelers:
1. When planning your vacation in Bali and in particular the choice of a hotel, be very scrupulous about the choice of the area of your stay there. I do not pretend to be the truth in the first instance, but I would choose the Kuta and Legian regions. This is the concentration of all the benefits of civilization that this wonderful island offers us - shops, restaurants, shopping centers, massage parlors, and since all this is presented in huge quantities - reasonable and competitive prices (about prices later). For lovers of pathos - definitely Nusa Dua: fashionable hotels, clean beaches, etc. - but the prices for everything are also fashionable)), and for the same thing that in Kuta it costs several times cheaper. The Sanur area... The only plus (for someone) is the local red-light district, where most of the island's priestesses of love are concentrated, usually "guest workers" from Java and Sumatra, as well as smaller islands (here's a Muslim country))). So I don’t recommend it to the bulk of tourists, because it has no more pluses. Seminyak. . . He is Seminyak. . . There is nothing to do there either (IMHO).
2. Come to Bali with a positive attitude) The main wealth and charm of Bali is not the sea, not the beaches - but fantastic nature, temples, and of course People. I have never met such wonderful people anywhere in Southeast Asia. And this applies not only to the indigenous Balinese, but also to visitors from other islands of Indonesia.
