Amazing island!
A few months ago we returned from the wonderful island of Bali. An unusually interesting island with an interesting culture. We lived in 2 cities, first in Tanjung Benoa and then moved to noisy Kuta. Long before the trip, we were tormented by the choice of a hotel, because when you fly so far you don’t want to make a mistake at all, and our choice fell on Aston Bali Resort. Only this hotel has 2 such wonderful rooms, you can say on the roof of the hotel with a private terrace of 80 m2 and a gazebo overlooking the Indian Ocean, which is just a stone's throw away! Of course, 1 minus is the ebbs, but this is not a minus of this particular hotel, but of Bali as a whole. We were perfectly surprised by the Balinese cuisine, well, everything is very tasty, it is in Tanjung that there are a huge number of small cozy restaurants with an excellent choice of dishes from several cuisines, we had to sit for the menu for half an hour because it was very difficult to decide))) Lobsters and shrimp are just huge! I won’t say anything about shopping centers, because we don’t come so far for clothes, especially since they aren’t there)) like everywhere else, only ‘’China’’. Shops with souvenirs on every corner, there was no need to go to some kind of base, because the prices are excellent everywhere.
After spending 9 days in Tanjung, we headed to Kuta. For the second half of the holiday, we chose a villa by the sea of .135 m2 with a large swimming pool. The complex of villas Namaste Villa Kuta Beach is new, built up just before our arrival, so as you know, the rest turned out to be very comfortable! I was struck by the huge waves about which they talked so much, there are simply no words, such power! There are a lot of surfers, it’s cool to watch them, but it’s a pity that it was almost impossible to swim, every day there is a red flag and you can’t go deeper than knee-deep - they whistle ((
Nightlife in Kuta is in full swing and resembles Walking Street in Thailand, which did not make us very happy and even upset. Of the clubs, the most popular is ''Lucifer'', we went there and immediately left, we were like in hell, solid drama and techno, horror! Also, having ridden several main streets on a bike in search of the same cozy restaurants as in Tanjung, we were unpleasantly surprised - there are none! There are some BISTROs with fast food and solid eateries, they took seafood from the grill with them and brought them to the villa, since there was no desire to eat them there at all.
Summing up, I would like to say that I liked Bali very much, put unforgettable impressions in my memory! If you wonder if we will return there again - probably not))
P. S. I would write more and take excursions but another time!
