we were going to go on a Safari (Zoo in Indo is the same thing) to Bali. but the hotel workers and local acquaintances dissuaded us, they said that the Safari is much better in Jakarta. and it’s a pity to look at animals in Bali - the owner of the redneck hardly feeds them and they eat only what tourists throw at them.
in Jakarta Safari is located outside the city. its area is huge. In order to get there quickly, you need to leave at 5-6 in the morning. because later traffic jams will be simply unrealistic.
entrance fee for foreigners 150 thousand rupees. cheaper for locals. You can drive your own car or transfer to a local sightseeing bus. 5 kilometers before Safari they are already starting to sell bananas, carrots and other food for animals.
To be honest, I have never seen anything like this in my life. even on TV. animals roam the roadway, brazenly stick their muzzles into the car. pretty funny.

part of the zoo for predatory animals, fenced off from the rest and naturally warned that the windows were closed. but tigers, lions and panthers don’t care so much that they don’t even turn their faces in your direction.
The Safari area also hosts all kinds of shows. we saw with elephants, you can ride camels, elephants, ponies. there is a lunapark.
and most importantly - for only 10 thousand rupees (this is about 1 euro) you can take pictures in an embrace with white and Bengal tigers, a small chimpanzee, a leopard and a lion cub. it's just unforgettable!! ! Under than sit there can be and 10 minutes. no one will kick you out and post as many pictures as your heart desires
