Bali alone. Part 3. Technical.

I have already said that our format of visiting Bali was very unusual - instead of staying in one hotel and going on excursions, I decided to travel with things, checking into different hotels in different places. Let me tell you, it's inconvenient. Unpacking-packing takes time and effort, check-in and check-out too. You can move permanently only if there are few things. But economically it is quite profitable. It turned out two nights in a good hotel and two economy)
And the evenings spent in different places were different, which added emotionality to this trip.
In general, if we talk about independent trips, then they are often chosen not in the sense of saving, but in order to be free to move.
For example, for me, the defining moment was the desire to stay in Singapore longer than the three days offered by tour operators, and then the map lay down like this, that Bali was on my wish list) Therefore, it’s not entirely correct for me to talk about an independent trip to Bali, my the trip was focused on Singapore. But maybe my experience will help other travelers.
The algorithm for preparing independent travel has already been described in various forums. I'll tell you how it was for me. In the order in which it should be done. Ticket prices are for two people, round trip. Due to fluctuations in exchange rates, prices may not be relevant now. Then, in relation to the hryvnia, the dollar was 8.15.
1. Main ticket. Kyiv-Singapore. Through Bangkok. Transfer there 1.5 hours, return 11. UIA + Katey airline. 61245 RUB. I searched for a ticket through a Yandex search http://ticket. yandex. ua bought from Senturia https://senturia. ua
2. Domestic flight Singapore-Denpasar. 300.14 EUR.
Valueair Airlines. Searched and bought through Bravoavia http://www. bravoavia. com. ua
3. Hotels. All through booking. http://www. booking. com
4. Domestic flight Denpasar-Mataram. 93.000 IDR. Merpati Airlines. I searched and bought through Ticketindonesia http://ticketindonesia. info/en/index. php
Those tickets are gone. The airline went bankrupt. At the airport ticket office, you can buy tickets from Garuda Indonesia immediately before departure (120.000 IDR)

6. Insurance. I took it in Privatbank for a year for 160 UAH.
I can only say bad things about Tikenindonesia. When Merpati stopped flying and our Denpasar-Mataram flight was canceled accordingly, I found out about it at the airport. That is, the seller did not warn me.
Although before that we corresponded for a long time on their initiative (finding out the issue of identical names) Moreover, I wrote to them, already on Lombok, twice with a question about damages and a request to change the flight back to another airline. No answer, no hello. I can’t imagine that Centuria, for example, could do this.
As an excursion to Bali, it is most convenient to take a car with a driver for the whole day. Drivers make routes based on our wishes and their capabilities. The island is small, but embossed and it is not always possible to cover all the Wishlist in one day.
The beaches in Bali are not very heavenly, I thought for a long time where to stay, so that it would be beautiful, convenient and inexpensive, but I did not find such a place. Nusa Dua, as an expensive and pretentious place, was immediately discarded, Kuta is not my format at all. Lovina attracted me, but it was far from civilization and my daughter did not like it. Jimbaran is too rustic.
There is Padang-Padang, but there are no hotels on the shore. They say Sanur is not bad, but it didn't work out for us either. Hotel Sanur Beach Hotel I liked. And yes, there is a choice. But it's too expensive in my opinion. And the information about the ebb completely depressing me.
Having read about the high waves, the dirty, far-reaching and unsightly sea, I decided to choose a beach in Lombok, which I did not regret for a minute. Therefore, I cannot give any advice on the beaches of Bali - I have not seen these beaches. I saw the sea in two places - in Jimbaran (it would be better if I didn’t see it - the surf line is very littered) and on Tanah Lot (the waves roar and beat against the rocks, no one swims)
If I ever come to Bali, I will live in Ubud. There is no sea in Ubud, but there is a certain atmosphere there, which is Bali for me.
I will answer all questions related to the preparation of an independent trip.
