Melody 2 hearts
Good afternoon, dear tourists : )
I would like to share with you a review about a trip to Jaeger, Budapest and Vienna with the tour operator "Accord-Tour".
With your permission, I will start with the negative (there are not so many of them):
1. Upset the bus. The trip is not close, and the ride was rather uncomfortable due to the fact that the seats practically did not recline, the distance between the rows of seats was very small. There are no comments on cleanliness. Drivers are great, special thanks to them.
2. Very upset guide in Vienna (Olga). This is not only my opinion, but also that of many tourists from our group (besides, I talked with tourists who had a rest last year under the same program, and they were also not happy with it). We ran very quickly, uninterestingly, “galloped” on a sightseeing tour, excursions to Sherbrun and Belvedere simply do not cost 38 euros at the end (2 hours for 2 palaces, taking into account the move, is very little, and unreasonably expensive). But everything would be fine if it were not for Olga, who simply did not perform the function of a guide.
And now about the pleasant:
1. In general, the tour program is very well built.
2. If it seems possible and appropriate, I would recommend not to visit Eger, but immediately go to Budapest, and replace Egerszalok with the Szé chenyi baths - this, of course, is a matter of taste, but I would rather spend +1 day in Budapest.
3. Special thanks for choosing a hotel in Budapest (Arena). Clean, tidy, great location, great spa.
I was not pleased with the hotel in Vienna (Delta), but mainly due to the fact that it was located far from the metro, and the room had neither a balcony nor a refrigerator. But for one night is ok.
4. Special thanks to the guide in Budapest (unfortunately, I don’t remember his name), the guide in Jaeger was also good.
In general, we had a great time, got a lot of positive impressions and unforgettable memories.
We prepared in advance for the trip, found quite a lot of reviews and guides on the Internet.
There was a good sightseeing tour in Jä ger, after which we went to Jä gerszalok (it's worth paying 10 euros for such a trip, believe me) - just class)))) well, after that we tasted delicious wine in the wine cellars of Jä ger, took a couple of bottles with us as souvenirs .
We almost looked at Budapest on our own (thanks for the great sightseeing tour, we were able to admire the Fisherman's Bastion, the complex next to the Royal Palace and himself, as well as the castle near Heroes' Square in quite "detail", but quickly in time). We have already climbed Mount Gelert on our own, walked along the embankments of Buda and Pest, saw the Parliament and the Basilica, rode a karablic twice (9 euros per person and you can ride an unlimited number of times during the day : ))). The Hungarian cuisine is a delight to eat - goulash is a must : ) We also visited the zoo - it's just magical : ) The only place we didn't have time to visit is the Oceanarium, but for such a period of time it's not surprising.
With Vienna, the situation was a little different, because. we did not find detailed guidebooks and there was not much time in the city. Therefore, after a sightseeing tour, we went on a paid excursion to Sherbrun and Belvedere. And they were not satisfied. But in the evening we managed to walk around the evening city (it is beautiful in the night lights : )), and the next day we climbed the tower of St. Stephen's Church (which offers a beautiful view of the city), walked along the "downloaded" route "Old Vienna", saw a lot of things interesting and not in a hurry : )
The conclusion from this trip, I can draw the following: bus tours should be taken to no more than 2 large cities in order to appreciate them. Get ready in advance, so you will save a lot of money on additional excursions, and you will be able to admire the places of interest to you in more detail on your own. Public transport runs like clockwork, it is very convenient to move around the city. Budapest is a fairly democratic city in terms of prices, buy souvenirs and gifts home there, Vienna is a little shocking (6 euro magnets are too much : ((. But you can buy all sorts of goodies (chocolate, for example, marzipans) in large supermarkets - in Bill, for example.
I wish you all a wonderful holiday!
