My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were looking for a mid-range hotel in the center of Budapest. In booking com, I noticed a 5 * hotel at a price of 109 euros per day and excellent reviews about it. We decided to walk like this and booked it. The first shock was that we were brought to the historical part of the city (well, like our Kremlin) - the Buda Castle. And then more. . . The hotel is small - 26 rooms, but extraordinary beauty. Luxurious furniture (I don't like Empire), but everything here is really exquisite. We booked the smallest room (54! meters). What was our surprise when we were taken to a "modest" room at 90 meters. I will not describe the room, everything can be seen on the hotel website. I can only say that we were scared, since its real cost is 500 euros per day. Having taken a picture so that we had something to tell later, we rushed to the reception to tell about the mistake, but they gave us such a number as a gift! Blimey! How difficult it was to force yourself to leave your home! By the way, the hotel manager Diana speaks excellent Russian and is ready to fulfill your every whim (and there was nothing to be capricious here). Yes, by the way, we also looked into the "modest" rooms - they are just as cool, only smaller. So this is not a hotel, but a castle! Very, very recommended! Even if you are not as lucky as we are, you will not regret it: location, comfort, staff, silence and, I will not be afraid of this word, luxury - everything is at the highest level. It's better to book in advance - there will be decent discounts.
