St. George Residence 5*****. The hotel is just great! Comfortable, beautiful, friendly staff, delicious food. The location of the hotel is just perfect - 1 min. walk from the historical site of the Fisherman's Bastion, but with the fact that the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Hotel manager Diana, speaks Russian well. Will advise on any issue, responsive. If I'm ever in Budapest again, I'll go to this hotel! And I advise you!! !
My husband and I have already been to Hungary several times, but we have not been able to visit Budapest before. Therefore, this time we decided to stay in Budapest for at least 5 days and see all the sights. The hotel was chosen on the advice of friends who stayed there a year ago. It was St. George Residence Hotel (Hotel of St. George) in the Castle Quarter. To be honest, my husband and I just love this hotel! In my opinion, the location of the hotel is the most successful: right in the historical center of Budapest, from where all the main attractions are within easy reach, but in the evening there is silence and tranquility. Atmosphere George Residence immediately captivates. This is a castle with amazing paintings and frescoes, where each apartment is made in an exclusive style. At the same time, you can really live there like at home, with all the amenities: there are all the amenities for quality rest, and even a fully equipped kitchen. If you wish, you can spend the whole day without leaving the hotel, just admiring the paintings and the amazing view from the window of the room. My husband and I spent at St. George Residence Hotel 4 nights, and were very satisfied with the accommodation and service of the hotel staff. Really five stars. Thanks to all the staff at St. George Residence Hotel. We will definitely be back next year!

We booked tickets and booked the hotel ourselves. As planned, we spent most of our vacation in a small town in the east of Hungary. A few days before departure, "tired" of a relaxing holiday, we decided to use the invitation of our good friend to get out to see Budapest. There was not even a question about where to stay in Budapest. It was definitely decided that we would stay at the St. George Hotel, where Diana (our friend) currently works as a marketing director. Initially, all her assurances about: the “beauty” of the hotel, its “historical value”, “great location” - were perceived more as an advertising campaign than a “real” perception of reality. But everything turned out much better...
The hotel is fabulously beautiful. The first desire that you experience when you enter a hotel room is to stay there to live.
Before that, we have been to many 5-star hotels, but this one compares favorably with all its "brothers" with some of its indescribable individual charm. Here you will not find the faceless pathos of huge marble corridors and halls, you will not feel lost in a strange environment, you will not see a large number of people fussily scurrying between tables in a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. On the contrary, when you get to the St. George Hotel, you will not leave the feeling that it was you who were expected here, that you are the guest who is appreciated and whose location they want to achieve.
Everything is homemade in the hotel. Our room had a kitchen, fully equipped with appliances and utensils (it was certainly very convenient for us with a child). For the child put a very good crib. The bathroom was equipped with a large jacuzzi, so every evening, after a walk, the child stood on the floor at its edge and demandingly “gurgled” for dad to get water and put him there to wash. At night, despite the fact that it was January, we opened the window and cool fresh air entered the room... The location of the hotel itself is unique. It is located in the historical part of the city, where there is practically no transport. Therefore, the air there is very clean (after Moscow, you especially pay attention to this), and the opportunities for walking along small old streets with panoramic views of Budapest are almost limitless.
