Autumn holidays in Hungary 2008.
We traveled with a 9-year-old daughter to Hungary with the travel agency Let's have a rest from Kyiv. The tour was seven days long, we traveled by train to Chop, crossed the border in a Sprinter minibus, there were 16 of us, we passed two borders in 1 hour. 30 minutes. First there was Eger (a short city tour, an hour of free time and the famous goulash + tasting of five varieties of wine. ) Then moving to Budapest, we arrived at the Polus hotel at about 5 pm, settled in a room on the second floor with windows on the Tesco hypermarket. The room is normal, warm, refrigerator, hair dryer, TV - everything worked properly. True, it was possible to clean the room cleaner, but we didn’t litter too much. There was no TV remote in the room, they asked for it. Linen was not changed for 4 days, but I change it at home once a week. Clean towels, toilet paper, liquid soap, clean bin - all without question. Breakfast was not pleasing variety and good taste, but did not go hungry. Yes, the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, but this is not fatal, you can take bus 173 to the center. Budapest is very beautiful (the weather helped), we were in the Szé chenyi baths, a zoo, an amusement park, a marzepan museum, a tropical oceanarium, as well as in Szentedra, Vysehrad, we saw the Danube bend (very beautiful! ). We went on excursions on a large bus (2 groups together), the local guide Tatyana told and showed very interestingly and intelligibly. Evening Budapest is also beautiful in its own way (a tour of the Danube by boat). Then there was Miskolc, underground baths, my opinion is very chlorinated water (I had a headache). Then, the way home (a short stop in Tesco) and the border passed without problems. That's it, the train is taking you to Kyiv. I think the trip was a success for the money (210 euros per person). The quality corresponds to the paid money. Believe me, there is something to compare. Before Hungary, I went to Norway, Sweden, Denmark for 1260 euros for two weeks, so there the demand is different and the level is higher. Yes, I forgot to say, at the end of the trip it turned out that the tour operator Visit Tour drove us, and the travel agency Let's rest is just a partner. All the best!
