On June 24, in the morning, crowds of salsa lovers of various skin colors began to arrive on the island. The hotel administration gave them a place near... children's pools! All this dirty crowd (meaning salsa lovers, and the vast majority of them were REALLY unwashed), no less than 2500-3000 people in number, began to dance to the roaring music, eat beer, squeeze their women... Since it was warm, and the dancing, sorry, they were sweating, they regularly climbed into the pools, and later, having taken enough alcohol, they stopped getting out of the water at all... In general, the kids in the children's pools began to do something like that, there was nothing to do. All this feast of the spirit lasted until 20:00, and then for at least an hour and a half they were evacuated from the island, using for this, it seems, the entire passenger fleet of the wonderful city of Rovinj! All these worthy followers of the Cuban-Puetro Rican emigrants left behind on the island: discouraged vacationers (who gave very decent money and naively counted on a relaxing holiday), mountains of garbage and broken glass and filthy pools, which, in fact, are discussed.
To my question addressed to the hotel administration: will the pools be washed? I got the answer: yes. And the answer was a lie! Yes, the area around the sein was cleaned up. Glass and debris removed. But the WATER in the pools remained the same as it was! Nobody drained anything and did not wash the bathtubs of the pools. Once I myself worked as the director of the pool and I can firmly state: after such an orgy with the participation of several thousand people, it is necessary to drain the water (BECAUSE STANDARD FILTERS ARE POWERFUL IN THIS CASE), to carry out a thorough disinfection, and only after that it is possible to continue to operate the pool. Otherwise, a lot of dermatovenereologists and infectious disease doctors will receive a lot of new patients. But. Today, not only adults, but also children bathe in an unwashed pool! They trusted the lies of the administration. The result will not keep you waiting. And we go to the sea. It is not as convenient as near the pool, but health is more expensive. More in this hotel no foot! They lie here!

We dined several times, but unsuccessfully, the seafood was not fresh. Our restaurant always had the freshest. In general, there is nothing to complain about, the rest was excellent. The only thing about the tour operator and the flight. We flew through the Adria tour, the Horse airline, the planes were old, the Douglas brand. When we bought the tour, the departure was in the morning. Two days before departure, the flight was changed to evening, plus they flew to Pula with a landing in Split. People got off the plane flying to Split, then we waited (2 hours on the plane) for people flying to Kyiv via Pula to enter. Only then did we fly to Pula. Naturally, we arrived at the hotel at 23.00, we were fed sandwiches, the day was paid for and completely lost. They flew back directly, but our plane was delayed for technical reasons for 5 hours, arrived in Kyiv at 3 am, instead of 22.00. But, this did not spoil our rest, the road is the road. The staff deserves the highest praise. They do their job quietly, imperceptibly and quickly - this is called excellent service. Personally, my vacation was slightly spoiled by only one circumstance - the presence in the hotel of a rather large number of eternally dissatisfied Russian-speaking tourists (not only Russians, but also Ukrainians). For example, when, after a transfer from Pula airport, we were left in Rovinj at the Dolphin pier - to wait for a boat to the hotel (which is 10 minutes by sea), then the comments of our random fellow travelers were as follows: thrown out! In fact, they didn’t throw it away, but brought it to the most beautiful place in Rovinj, from where the most wonderful panorama of this ancient city opens. The ship runs to the island once an hour. Well, sit for half an hour (maximum! ) on the pier, admire the views, get used to the air. And they are sitting - Germans, Italians, British. But unpacked Russian-speaking tourists, apparently, need to be provided with special carriages and yachts everywhere. In this case, you need to hook on a golden chain and go somewhere else, but, sorry, not to Europe! We arrive at the hotel, go to the reception, there is a scream and din. All the guys at the reception listen with a smile to two raging elderly Russian tourists who shout that they could not get on the boat because there was a wedding on the island in the a la carte restaurant and the ship was packed to capacity with guests. They shouted like this: "You thwarted all our plans, we will complain! " What plans can old women have in retirement? Wonderful nature, a beautiful island - sit or walk, enjoy life (which, apparently, has developed well - since you are here! ), If you didn’t get on one boat, you will go on another. . . Well, there is no fashion in Croatia to make private islands, resorts, beaches - everything is municipal, and on Saturdays there really are newlyweds on the Red Island who want to celebrate their celebration in a beautiful castle. Everyone is calm about this circumstance. Only our tourists spoil the nerves for themselves, the staff, and, most importantly, this is how the image of Russian-speaking tourists is formed. He has a bad image - believe me, and nothing, unfortunately, changes - boorish, downtrodden and do not speak English - that's how we look in the eyes of Europeans. And money, including a big tip, does not solve anything. Culture must be dealt with in order to look worthy abroad. And don't tell me that Germans, English and some Dutch are "good too". They are quite adequate, and one should strive for this adequacy. . . And the hotel is cool, I recommend for family vacations and romantic trips.

But I have not regretted it once, and my son was simply delighted. We flew out of Moscow at night, at 3 o'clock, very inconvenient. There is nowhere to spend the night, all the hotels are full. I had to go somewhere for 30 km, but this is nonsense. The hotel is the most average, the main thing was to sleep and a gazelle from the hotel took us to Domadedovo. We arrived in Pula in the morning, where a representative of the Pax company met us, we got on the bus and drove off. And the fact that we had to take tourists to our hotels along the way did not spoil our mood, we are not whimsical people, we looked around with all our eyes. Very interesting. There were those among us who, with the air of experienced comrades who had been everywhere, expressed dissatisfaction, probably deciding to show off in front of such inexperienced people like us. But we were happy, nothing could overshadow our joy. We arrived an hour and a half later at the pier, we were dropped off and we began to wait for the boat. Waited about an hour and a half, or less. The child had joy!!! ! He still remembers. The food there is beyond criticism. Many, delicious, varied. Wine and beer for dinner for free, if you like. The territory is well-groomed, everything is done correctly, according to the mind. Dangled in the city of Rovinj several times. There food and drinks are 2-2.5 times cheaper. My wife went with him to the market and after 3 minutes they came with diarrhea of mussels, they were cooked for us on an open fire, right next to us. Plus fried fish, seafood. Damn, everything is fresh, fresh, and delicious! For example, I have never tried such delicious shrimp before. We have something frozen, in stores, and probably died a martyr's death. And most importantly, around such people are simple. All foreigners smile, communicate at ease, a feeling of complete peace. The very atmosphere of every second holiday. This I am writing may be in contrast after Tuapse. When they left, it was just sad and depressing. And here it is, Moscow! I don’t want to write anything, those who were in our Moscow airports will understand. Thank God, they flew to Tyumen that same evening. And the memories are for life. And you look at the photo when you think what needs to be done so that at least 10 percent of everything corresponds to their level. In general, do not be afraid, fly to Croatia.
