The refurbished ones have air conditioning, TV and a very neat well-groomed view with terraces and gardens located along well-maintained pedestrian streets. Others are so-so, most importantly clean. On the second floor, even decently. The first floor is damp and dark. It is not possible to determine what you are booking, because there are only decent apartments in the photo, but they are settled on the spot, and it is impossible to prove that you booked those decent apartments. There is no such thing as two stars or four here. We were settled in those that are worse, thank God we managed to knock out the second floor. The sea is visible only from 10-12 apartments, which is on the first line. There is a lot of Russian speech - this year many companies have taken up filling these apartments with tourists from Russia. They began to clean the rooms more or less after a conversation at the reception. The kitchen is decent - nothing special. Even good for two stars. There is a beach - though rocky and pebbly and away from the pier, because where there is pebble, the so-called. the beach of the hotel smells a bit of a release into the sea. Bicycle rental - you need to be in time early in the morning, otherwise it may not be enough. You need to be very careful about paying for renting bicycles, the guys strive to earn extra money. It is better to take in Rovinj - cheaper and payment after the number of hours used. The boat to Rovinj goes on schedule - very convenient. The place to stay is great, but I would like to clearly understand when booking what you will get, what you saw in the advertising photos - this neat orange-and-white apartment, and not those others that are not in the photos. And also I would like to get an apartment with a view of the sea and the top floor. We resigned ourselves to what we got, not to spoil our vacation because of such a trifle, but the sediment remained. The sea is clear, the sun is bright.

My friends and I went to Amarin, which a few years ago was liked by my friend's daughter (oh, youth! ). You will not find any four stars there, do not even hope! A huge, sloppy territory, crooked uneven paths, scary houses, an exorbitant number of cars EVERYWHERE, tents, the absence of beaches, as such, a flea market in the dining room (it’s hard to call this a restaurant ()! And also - a broken leg on a crooked path, rare cleaning in houses and a strange change of towels (and the linen was changed only once in two weeks), the dominance of ants.

I want to amend the description of the hotel! I did not find "Amarin 2* Hotel rooms" - hairdryer, kitchen utensils, TV, satellite, TV, TV, air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave, safe, telephone. It was very not pleasant to be without a hair dryer! Although knowing this, I would just take it with me.

I read the reviews here about the hotel - it feels like I was in another place! Maybe I was lucky and I got the only normal room, or in 2008 it was completely different? ! I will note about transport links with Rovinj! It is until late at night, but even in extreme cases, a stroll along the sea for an hour and you are in the room.

There was a great variety of everything! If you compare it with a very decent sanatorium in Sochi "Rus", where meat is given once... a week (!!! ), then the food was truly royal! And if your life is... - do not blame the environment for this!

We rested in Amarin for 11 days from the company "Russian Express". Loved it, we'll go again next year. Cons: monotonous breakfasts, check-out at 10:00 In fact, this is not a very big problem, since the campsite on site has very decent showers and toilets, before leaving for the airport you can eat in a restaurant and swim and sunbathe : ) Before the trip I read a lot of different reviews on the hotel, and, I tell you, I didn’t quite understand the negativity and spitting in the direction of Amarin.

I myself am a picky and demanding person, I have a lot of good rest, plus I travel with a child - and this sets a certain bar. Rovinj is generally a cool city, and you can even walk to it in half an hour; and by sea across the bay - 10 minutes - generally a fairy tale. I saw these houses 2 * personally, nothing terrifying, the demand is complete. But 4 * is certainly much better. Cleaning daily, quality food, a kitchenette in the room, amazing vegetation on the territory, unobtrusive staff, and the sea is simply out of competition here. The child is delighted with catamarans, buggies, squirrels and lizards. Recomend for everybody.

I am genuinely shocked by most of the reviews. So strong that I can't understand - maybe there is some other Amarin in a parallel reality? Or people who leave reviews about "monotonous food", "creepy rocky coast", "terrible rooms and service" and other horrors of "a place for poor Europeans" requests at least for Suite rooms in the Maldives.

If you are not a fucking snob or a redneck with a pretension, if you are young (both physically and mentally), love sports and the beautiful Mediterranean nature, the sea is not hot bath temperature, do not like crowds of compatriots arranging a branch of a fucking drunken caravanserai around the world wherever they go, this is the perfect place for you.
Excellent sports base - very cheap rental of sports equipment, friendly staff, excellent food (European breakfast and European dinner), stunning nature.
The best place on earth. Cattle don't belong there : )) Go to Egypt, Turkey and Thailand : )
It’s even good that most of these reviews are here, which means this blessed place will never be polluted by Russians : )
Peter.

We rested in Amarin from 14 to 21 August 2010. First, about Istria in general. The first impression is a very small airport in the city of Pula (our Boryspil is just super in comparison with it)). Immediately after that, I was disappointed by the meeting with the representative of the Zeta Tour company in Croatia, Svetlana - it’s hard to imagine a more disorganized guide, she didn’t provide useful information about the city and the resort at all, but she overslept on the return flight, because of her we lost half an hour of time !!! ! By the way, there were tourists - 3 people, who only upon arrival in Pula found out that they had not been confirmed the reservation at the Istria hotel, so be careful with Zeta-tour !!!! , there was immediately a scandal for the whole bus and a spoiled mood for everyone tourists.

By the way, there were tourists - 3 people, who only upon arrival in Pula found out that they had not been confirmed the reservation at the Istria hotel, so be careful with Zeta-tour !!!! , there was immediately a scandal for the whole bus and a spoiled mood for everyone tourists. At 10 in the morning we got to the Amarin hotel, but the settlement there is only from 15 !! ! Luggage can be left in a special room, but no one is looking after it, and anyone can come in!!! ! So there is an opportunity to easily be left without luggage. ROOM: The first room we were given was on the ground floor, on the very last row from the sea, which did not suit us at all, so we were asked to change to a better room, which was difficult, but still done, we had to wait another 1.5 hours , but the room was still with a sea view and on the second floor, so it was worth it. We lived in a studio, there are no complaints about the room as a whole, a room, a small kitchen, our own terrace with a table, 2 sun loungers and an umbrella, but as for cleaning, I join all the previous comments, they clean it obscenely, practically they don’t clean it at all, the bed was changed 1 time, the garbage was not taken out, in general, a huge minus.
HOTEL: In general, a hotel for poor Europeans and for dogs!!! ! Incredible number of trailers and tents. So the fact that there are 4 * rooms in Amarin absolutely does not apply to the hotel as a whole, Amarin is very reminiscent of a recreation center near Kiev. Therefore, if you want a more developed infrastructure and good service, this is clearly not the place to go.
BEACH: Sooooooo rocky shore, you can enter the water only in special shoes (it costs 50 kunas (1 kuna = 1.4 UAH). The sea is almost never calm, there were always waves. You need to swim very carefully! It is better to sunbathe on sun lounger or on a dense bedding, the pebbles are very sharp.
The pool there is with sea water and does not deserve special attention.
FOOD: In a word, monotony. Breakfasts are the same every day - scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, sausage, drinks - coffee, tea for free, but drinks at dinner are for a fee. Yes, and the dinners themselves were not pleased, they never prepared any national dishes, the fish was only 4 !!! ! times, and only sardines and anchovies, every day they cooked rice, pasta and french fries, which the Europeans ate for a sweet soul. In general, I wanted something more sophisticated and amazing, but alas !!!!
ENTERTAINMENT: Not far from Amarin there is the city of Rovinj, we were there 4 times in a week, a very beautiful city, it is called the "second Venice". Narrow streets, white marble paving stones, many cozy restaurants, in general it is worth visiting - see photo. Thanks to walks around Rovinj, we managed to somehow embellish our vacation. From food, I definitely advise you to try the national Croatian pshut (thinly cut dried pork), Pashki cheese - sheep's cheese, "black" mussel rice in white sauce.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest, but there were a lot of complaints about this hotel, so I definitely won’t go there again and won’t recommend it to anyone. I also post pictures with a view of the beaches and the hotel. Maybe this will help someone make a choice.

We stayed at the end of July 2010. Let's just say that the first impression was not very good. It all started with a settlement. In Amarin, you can stay in a room only from 15:00 (according to international standards - from 13:00! ). I note that this is not a hotel, but "Appartments & Camping", a tourist settlement, in other words, our, almost "soviet" camp site.

I note that this is not a hotel, but "Appartments & Camping", a tourist settlement, in other words, our, almost "soviet" camp site. We lived in a 2 * house on the 2nd floor. The room has 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, a table and a mini-fridge + bathroom. No window, with a door that can be easily opened with a nail file. But among coniferous trees, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Most of the territory is reserved for camping. Service and animation. Service - for 10 days the room was never properly cleaned, the bed was not changed, there was a lot of cobwebs. And the animation is in German, since most of the vacationers are Germans, Austrians and Dutch. So, in the evenings I had to look for entertainment myself. The beach is relatively large (compared to the neighboring Valdaliso), the sea is mostly clean. But go to sea without specials. shoes are simply impossible - huge stones at the bottom, moreover, are slippery. A couple of people walked with bandaged legs and plastered hands. So be careful. The food has already been mentioned, the only thing I want to add is that dinners are delicious, unlike breakfasts. Lots of fish (different every day), rice with octopus, rice with mussels, meat, salads, etc. The chefs are Italians. Location. 15 minutes from Rovinj by bus or 7 minutes by boat (taxi boat) directly from the pier in the territory of Amarin. An extremely beautiful city, which until recently belonged to Italy, with narrow stone streets, houses drowning in the water (almost Venice! ). In general, the beauty of the city crossed out all the negative impressions of the hotel. In general, rest is always good! But I would recommend a higher class hotel.

About the room - everything you need is there - a safe, air conditioning, a hairdryer, dishes, a microwave, etc...
Towels were changed every day, bed once (! ) a week.
The food is good, but really monotonous.
There is really little entertainment, especially for Russians and, what is more offensive, for Russian children, of whom there are many. there is a small playground with 1 slide and 1 swing.
What I didn’t like the most was the Croats themselves, or rather, their attitude towards the Russians. They pretend that they do not understand either Russian or English . . and they laugh quietly . . I have not seen this in any other European country.
