I am writing almost a year after the rest, but I cannot but write about the most (so far) wonderful holiday. There were three of us, me, wife and son, 3 years old. I don’t know what bad things can be remembered about this heavenly place, but apparently there are snobs who will find something to complain about everywhere. To everyone who is going to go to the Istra Hotel, I can only advise - do not listen to anyone, feet in hand and go. If possible, take elderly parents to help with their grandchildren a little. And then, of course, it’s difficult to go to the city of Rovinj with the kids, I dragged mine on my shoulders for hours, but these are trifles. So, we were abroad for the first time, and immediately to Croatia. Thought, thought, where? Turkey? I personally did not want to go to Bulgaria? Do not know. But something caught fire in Croatia, and friends advised. I must say right away that it is not a cheap country, more expensive than many. But I have not regretted it once, and my son was simply delighted. We flew out of Moscow at night, at 3 o'clock, very inconvenient. There is nowhere to spend the night, all the hotels are full. I had to go somewhere for 30 km, but this is nonsense. The hotel is the most average, the main thing was to sleep and a gazelle from the hotel took us to Domadedovo. We arrived in Pula in the morning, where a representative of the Pax company met us, we got on the bus and drove off. And the fact that we had to take tourists to our hotels along the way did not spoil our mood, we are not whimsical people, we looked around with all our eyes. Very interesting. There were those among us who, with the air of experienced comrades who had been everywhere, expressed dissatisfaction, probably deciding to show off in front of such inexperienced people like us. But we were happy, nothing could overshadow our joy. We arrived an hour and a half later at the pier, we were dropped off and we began to wait for the boat. Waited about an hour and a half, or less. A large boat approached, you can’t call it a boat, the ship is small, and we went to Krasny Island. We arrived, our things were immediately taken to the electric car and taken. All this is strange to us. The hotel is very good, in my opinion wonderful. The first feeling is comfort. Everything is somehow comfortable, fresh, interesting. I must say right away that before that in June we were in Tuapse, in the boarding house Prometheus. We liked it, it's good. But when we arrived in Croatia!!! ! I realized that I would not go to our Black Sea anymore. Better for 3 days abroad. We rested for 10 days. With a small child, you don’t get much rest, but we were pleased that at least he had such happiness. Didn't get out of the pools. There are 6 swimming pools, 2 with fresh water, 2 with sea water, and 2 indoors. Another small one with a jacuzzi. We bought our armlets and he splashed himself, we just looked after. The child had joy!!! ! He still remembers. The food there is beyond criticism. Many, delicious, varied. Wine and beer for dinner for free, if you like. The territory is well-groomed, everything is done correctly, according to the mind. Dangled in the city of Rovinj several times. There food and drinks are 2-2.5 times cheaper. It is definitely necessary to take alcohol in the city, and beer and wine and vodka cost 2 times cheaper there than at the hotel. The bartender himself advised us when I wanted to take a bottle of skate for the evening. Dissuaded and sent to the city to the supermarket. A separate word must be said about prosciutto. This is a pork ham salted in sea salt and dried in the open air for several months. I have never eaten anything better than meat. Be sure to buy swimming shoes. Necessarily. especially for children. On the first day, my wife cut her finger very badly, there is such a bottom, stones overgrown with some kind of shell rock, like a grater for vegetables. That's where it got cut. Immediately ran to the store and bought slippers. But overpaid, in the city on the market is much cheaper. In the city, everything is cheaper and they can throw it off. I wanted to buy grappa with me, so while I tried all the varieties, I already changed my mind about buying. Pour and pour, try this, try this We went to a tavern near the market. The nicest Italian, either the bartender or the manager (he ran to the staff there and shouted), came up, speaks little Russian, but we understood each other perfectly. My wife went with him to the market and after 3 minutes they came with diarrhea of ​ ​ mussels, they were cooked for us on an open fire, right next to us. Plus fried fish, seafood. Damn, everything is fresh, fresh, and delicious! For example, I have never tried such delicious shrimp before. We have something frozen, in stores, and probably died a martyr's death. And most importantly, around such people are simple. All foreigners smile, communicate at ease, a feeling of complete peace. The very atmosphere of every second holiday. This I am writing may be in contrast after Tuapse. When they left, it was just sad and depressing. And here it is, Moscow! I don’t want to write anything, those who were in our Moscow airports will understand. Thank God, they flew to Tyumen that same evening. And the memories are for life. And you look at the photo when you think what needs to be done so that at least 10 percent of everything corresponds to their level. In general, do not be afraid, fly to Croatia. Istria is a wonderful place. Wandering around Rovinj is really worth it. Italy, nothing more, nothing less. I took out a loan to fly for 10 days, and have never regretted it. I wish everyone to go to Istra.
