We rested in Amarin from 14 to 21 August 2010. First, about Istria in general. The first impression is a very small airport in the city of Pula (our Boryspil is just super in comparison with it)). Immediately after that, I was disappointed by the meeting with the representative of the Zeta Tour company in Croatia, Svetlana - it’s hard to imagine a more disorganized guide, she didn’t provide useful information about the city and the resort at all, but she overslept on the return flight, because of her we lost half an hour of time !!! ! By the way, there were tourists - 3 people, who only upon arrival in Pula found out that they had not been confirmed the reservation at the Istria hotel, so be careful with Zeta-tour !!!! , there was immediately a scandal for the whole bus and a spoiled mood for everyone tourists. At 10 in the morning we got to the Amarin hotel, but the settlement there is only from 15 !! ! Luggage can be left in a special room, but no one is looking after it, and anyone can come in!!! ! So there is an opportunity to easily be left without luggage. ROOM: The first room we were given was on the ground floor, on the very last row from the sea, which did not suit us at all, so we were asked to change to a better room, which was difficult, but still done, we had to wait another 1.5 hours , but the room was still with a sea view and on the second floor, so it was worth it. We lived in a studio, there are no complaints about the room as a whole, a room, a small kitchen, our own terrace with a table, 2 sun loungers and an umbrella, but as for cleaning, I join all the previous comments, they clean it obscenely, practically they don’t clean it at all, the bed was changed 1 time, the garbage was not taken out, in general, a huge minus.
HOTEL: In general, a hotel for poor Europeans and for dogs!!! ! Incredible number of trailers and tents. So the fact that there are 4 * rooms in Amarin absolutely does not apply to the hotel as a whole, Amarin is very reminiscent of a recreation center near Kiev. Therefore, if you want a more developed infrastructure and good service, this is clearly not the place to go.
BEACH: Sooooooo rocky shore, you can enter the water only in special shoes (it costs 50 kunas (1 kuna = 1.4 UAH). The sea is almost never calm, there were always waves. You need to swim very carefully! It is better to sunbathe on sun lounger or on a dense bedding, the pebbles are very sharp.

The pool there is with sea water and does not deserve special attention.
FOOD: In a word, monotony. Breakfasts are the same every day - scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, sausage, drinks - coffee, tea for free, but drinks at dinner are for a fee. Yes, and the dinners themselves were not pleased, they never prepared any national dishes, the fish was only 4 !!! ! times, and only sardines and anchovies, every day they cooked rice, pasta and french fries, which the Europeans ate for a sweet soul. In general, I wanted something more sophisticated and amazing, but alas !!!!
ENTERTAINMENT: Not far from Amarin there is the city of Rovinj, we were there 4 times in a week, a very beautiful city, it is called the "second Venice". Narrow streets, white marble paving stones, many cozy restaurants, in general it is worth visiting - see photo. Thanks to walks around Rovinj, we managed to somehow embellish our vacation. From food, I definitely advise you to try the national Croatian pshut (thinly cut dried pork), Pashki cheese - sheep's cheese, "black" mussel rice in white sauce.
In general, we are satisfied with the rest, but there were a lot of complaints about this hotel, so I definitely won’t go there again and won’t recommend it to anyone. I also post pictures with a view of the beaches and the hotel. Maybe this will help someone make a choice.
