Hotel "Dalmacija" really belongs to good, average hotels. Everything you need is there. I didn’t see anywhere in the descriptions that there is a hair dryer in the room, I dragged my own... But he (the hair dryer) is still there))) Food: We only had breakfast and we are very happy about it, because. tried different types of pizza, fish, lasagna etc.

Food: We only had breakfast and we are very happy about it, because. tried different types of pizza, fish, lasagna etc. in local restaurants, so lunches and dinners were varied and interesting outside the hotel. So, the breakfasts were decent and tasty. Especially liked: crispy fresh bread of different types, different pastries, cakes, "finger" sausages, different types of cheese, including fried in batter. We ate, to be honest. But! Were seen sometimes dishes "yesterday", reheated and decorated with some tomatoes and cheese on top.
Housekeeping: nothing special, but I didn't understand their rules. Towels were changed every day, sometimes every other day. Vacuumed in the room, too, through time.
Staff: not strained, as, for example, in Turkey. Friendly, neutral, tipping is not necessary.
What obviously did not like it: it turned out that in September the influx of pensioners from all over Europe begins. And the hotel at the time of our vacation was full of old people from Germany, England, Sweden, etc... Honestly, it was not very pleasant. Because during breakfast it felt like we were eating in a nursing home. And in the evenings, they were given discos by the pool with the appropriate music (we had a balcony on this side). Those. in general, in September there were a lot of European pensioners in Makarska, more than young people and children. But it seemed that all the old people were gathered to the maximum in Dalmatia.
I recommend to everyone who will rest in Makarska to take an excursion to Mount Biokovo (by minibus with a guide and an experienced "mountain" driver, this tour is definitely available from the IBCI tour operator). Impressions and emotions go off scale, especially at the top of St. Yure 1762 m! And also: be sure to visit the island of Brach (Bol - wonderful beaches and the sea is warmer there), in Split and Trogir.

Excellent hotel for its category. Here, some people wanted to get 5-star service in a 3 * hotel + some other additional services. For this over go to Turkey or Egypt. There they will dance in front of you and juggle luggage. People go to Croatia for nature. And she's great there. The hotel is really old building, the rooms are small.

But at the same time everything is clean and well maintained. The food is excellent, varied and always hot. Of course, if you want to see lobsters for dinner, then Dalmatia is not for you. I highly recommend the hotel

The hotel can safely be put 4 *. The food is excellent, but for ten days it seemed monotonous, although everything was fresh and tasty, including fruits. The infrastructure of the hotel is good, the only negative is the careless cleaning of the room. The location of the hotel is convenient: the first line, located in the center of the promenade, a good swimming pool with sea water.

I liked the cleanliness of the sea and the city, the pine trees on the beach, which give shade. We went rafting, Krka waterfalls, the islands of Hvar and Brac, as well as the Plitvice Lakes. Despite the long road to the lakes and walking for 4 hours, everything went just super. It's worth it!

we thought for a long time where to go - to Spain (Majorca), where we had already been a year ago, or to Croatia, we preferred Croatia, because we decided that we needed to expand our horizons. And it turned out to be our big mistake, and now I’ll explain why: 1. Makarska is Yalta number two, the only difference is that everyone here speaks a foreign language - otherwise everything is the same - the same rude people, and the mountains and the sea and there and there, the prices are the same, there are just as many people.

And it turned out to be our big mistake, and now I’ll explain why: 1. Makarska is Yalta number two, the only difference is that everyone here speaks a foreign language - otherwise everything is the same - the same rude people, and the mountains and the sea and there and there, the prices are the same, there are just as many people. . . 2. HOTEL - this is a horror, the room is so small that the chairs placed do not allow passage, there is no sound insulation at all - sorry, but you can hear the neighbors going to the toilet, the hotel is 10 floors and it has 2 elevators, one of which sometimes does not work, and to wait for it you need to stand for at least 5 minutes, sometimes longer. it's good that we lived on the 5th floor and could walk on foot. There are very few sun loungers near the pool, so when the stones on the sea so dig into your skin that you want to lie down near the pool - the maximum that awaits you is a free chair. The staff is lousy! instead of solving some problem of the resident, they snap, ham and make a displeased face, but their catchphrase is - I don’t know anything and can’t help. for example, the hotel has wi-fi, but it is paid - $ 8 a week, while when it stopped working for us on the second day, we were told that they did not know anything and advised us to go to an internet cafe, which does not have any nothing to do with the hotel. and so you understand, almost every day after lunch, wi-fi stopped working. They cleaned their rooms by shaking up the bed and hanging towels (for 8 days of rest, they never changed the bed for us) 3. FOOD - we took full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner), which we regretted on the first day , firstly, it stinks in the dining room, and secondly, there is no choice ! ! (it costs 2 types of potatoes, stewed vegetables, pasta (sometimes) meat and that's it ! ! from vegetables you could eat only tomatoes and pickles. fruits - watermelon, rotten nectarine, bananas, melon. but it is worth noting that if you come for 30 -20 minutes before the end of the meal, then half of the above will no longer be. dinner is better than lunch, but you may come across rotten cuts on it - which are all covered in mucus and stink ((THEFFECTLY, it is better to take only breakfast-dinner or only breakfast, since the embankment is full of cafes with affordable prices (for example, a large pizza costs $ 7.4. Croatia - we didn’t foresee the opportunity to see it, because - a trip to Plitvice Lakes takes 5 hours one way and costs 1 hour 100$, so the prospect of spending 10 hours on a bus ride did not move us to these lakes at all CONCLUSION - maybe Croatia is a beautiful country, but it's better to go here to private villas and by car so that you can travel and see everything. even a little cheaper, but at the same time, the impressions will be much better! , because of such a holiday, we no longer have any desire to come here again.

We rested in Makarska last summer. I found this site just now and decided "it's better late than never"))) The hotel is good, for a 3 stars generally wonderful. Pleasant and helpful staff, excellent food (breakfast and dinner were more than enough). The rooms are quite comfortable, the view from the balcony was beautiful - the mountains on the right, the sea on the left.

The hotel is good, for a 3 stars generally wonderful. Pleasant and helpful staff, excellent food (breakfast and dinner were more than enough). The rooms are quite comfortable, the view from the balcony was beautiful - the mountains on the right, the sea on the left. The presence of the road next to the hotel did not interfere in any way, it did not spoil the view, and with the window closed, no noise was heard. Quite a normal pool, and if, again, we take into account what a wonderful view of the mountains opened up, so even more so.
In Makarska there are places to take a walk (parks, embankment, etc. ), there are a lot of different cafes, discos.
From excursions we chose a walk on a yacht. They sailed through the island of Brac, were in the towns of Pucishce and Omiš . We were satisfied - beautiful landscapes, interesting places, etc. ))) There are a lot of options for where to go and what to see in Croatia! ))
What is worth noting from the "cons" is the large number of people on the beaches. But we found less crowded places near the hotel, and if you walk for 15-20 minutes in the direction of the campsites (standing with your back to the hotel, go to the right along the embankment), then there will be an excellent uncrowded beach where you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers, and hide in tree shadows.
In general, we liked everything, especially the gorgeous nature of Croatia!

Rested in July this year in Croatia. We were recommended by a friend to contact the Pilgrim-m company. They worked quickly enough, well informed about the hotels. We stayed at the Dalmatia Hotel in Makarska. Excellent option, right on the beach, varied food. What I especially liked was the view from the windows! We were lucky, because some rooms have a side view of the sea, and to see its edge you still need to try hard.

We could enjoy the beautiful sea breeze in the morning! A country of incredible beauty! Why are only Plitvice Lakes! Of course, there is not much time, but this is exactly what must to see in Croatia! Thanks to the Piligrim team for a well-organized vacation! We will use your services in the future! We visited these magical lands this summer. I still don't understand why this hotel has only 3 stars? There were no complaints about the staff, the service is amazing, the food is generally a separate issue, I can only say that my eyes have never seen such a variety of yummy. I hope we will return there : ).

A very good bug. The rooms are standard: a minibar, which we did not use (we bought water and spirits at a nearby supermarket), a TV showing one Russian channel, a hairdryer. A large balcony overlooking the sea and mountains. The food is very decent, several types of meat, fish, fruits, a lot of dairy, a couple of times they pampered with seafood.

Once a party was arranged, dinner was held on the terrace by the pool. Everything was beautifully furnished, candles were burning, music was playing. lang. welcome. Now, what I didn’t like. The beach is narrow, there is not enough space - there is nowhere for an apple to fall (90% of Croatian families vacationing). The water is already agitated during the day, bits of paper and other garbage are floating. For some reason, it moves in dense rows to the center. No entertainment.

It rained a week before our arrival, and we had rain only once, when we ourselves went to Split. The rest of the time it was warm, although cloudy, but this did not interfere at all, but on the contrary, it helped not to burn out. Hotel Dalmatia pulls on a good four. Everything is very decent. It is better to choose a room on the upper floors, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and mountains.

It is better to choose a room on the upper floors, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and mountains. Of the minuses: no French bed, poor soundproofing in the room, expensive drinks for dinner, lack of animation. The beach is private, but anyone can get on it, so there are a lot of people, especially on weekends. Sunbeds are paid, 30 kunas. Free sunbeds were only at the Park Hotel (for hotel guests), by the way, and the most comfortable. On them we whiled away the time on the day of departure, when the flight was delayed. Makarska is a very beautiful city with a lot to see. We didn't even get it all done in a week. We advise you to go on a fish picnic on a boat to the islands of Brac and Hvar. They bring you from the city embankment, for 150 kunas, they feed you with delicious fish and entertain you with pleasant music.
