We traveled with two children aged 7 and 4. Therefore, my review is for families with children. The ticket was bought at TUI Ukraine. I was worried that it would take a long time to get to the hotel (bus-ferry-bus), but it turned out that in vain. I don’t remember how long it took to get from Split airport to the port of Split, then 40 minutes on the ferry, which pass unnoticed because the ferry is a floating house where you can run and eat if you take food with you (tea, coffee, water, chocolate in the bar , ice cream, etc. ). Since then, we were put on a bus that drove to the hotel for 5-10 minutes to detour. During the same time, you can walk from the port to the hotel along the waterfront.
The hotel is a large green area on which there are 5-6 buildings of different classes. We lived at Villa Maria. Our room consisted of a closed terrace with a table and chairs, two rooms, a bathroom with a bath and a balcony. In the first room there was a double sofa bed, a small wardrobe, TV, air conditioning and a kitchen unit with all the necessary utensils and household appliances, in the second - a large double bed, a large wardrobe, air conditioning, sun loungers and a dryer on the balcony. The room is clean, cleaned every day, and when we were not there, the towels were changed every day by ourselves, we did not throw them anywhere. Near the villa there is a good swimming pool, it is fenced and not visible from the road, so only the inhabitants of this villa swam in it.
There are 3 more pools on the territory of the hotel: central, not far from the children's beach, where all entertainment events are held, a large deep one near the Cactus building and a shallow one for kids on the central alley. The hotel has access to two beaches: the first one is behind the "Cactus" building - there is a very beautiful area, you can lie down in the shade of pine trees, but the beach is concrete and there are large stones in the sea (it's bad for children to swim there), but the second one (located next to the central pool) just right for children, because it is a quiet, shallow bay. The territory of the children's beach is small, but there is enough space for everyone. On the beach itself, pebbles of medium size, another three meters into the sea, are also pebbles, and then sand. Depth is from 0.5 to 1.5 m. The water is clear and holds well. My daughter learned to swim because of this. We didn’t take sun loungers, we bought foam pads on site, it’s cheaper.

I can’t say that the food was very varied, on the contrary, but we have never, despite the fact that children need dietary food, have not remained hungry and no one has been ill. We had three meals a day. Of the big minuses - half of the offered fruits were unripe, but they still were. If someone needs to know more about the dishes, then ask, I will answer. Although there is no guarantee that the chef will not change next year.
Now about children's animation. The playground next to the pool is bad, no one walks there. There is also a small playground near the animation house, there is a Chikovsky plastic house, rocking chairs and plastic slides for kids. There are a lot of animators, 6 people, they change with children, usually 1-2. My children practically didn’t walk there, not because it’s bad there, we just didn’t have time to sit in the house, but we came to the sea to swim. But they liked those 4-5 times that they walked there and it was hard to pick them up from there. The animators are very responsive, only one was not very friendly, for some reason she forbade children to take toys that they used to play without problems, she said that she did not understand our language, so she asked to wait for animators who understand at least something in Russian. But when other animators came, they enjoyed playing with my children, and the language barrier was not a problem for them. The hotel is designed for the French. The animators spoke French, English and German. If you know Ukrainian and Russian and connect the sign language, then an adult will be able to talk with a Croat, of course it is more difficult for children. Every evening a half-hour disco for kids.
What is good about this hotel is that immediately outside it begins the central shopping street of the city on which there are cafes, shops, souvenir shops, children's attractions. If you have money, you won’t be bored. It’s 5-10 minutes walk to the port, and it’s in the center of the city.
That's probably all I can tell you about children's recreation. I can’t tell you how adults have fun there, I only went to water aerobics in the central pool. These classes were sometimes better, sometimes worse, depending on which animator conducted them. If I was traveling alone with my husband, I would choose a different hotel,
