Hello everyone! ) We just returned from a trip and are in a hurry to share our impressions and useful information. I think a lot of people will be interested
So, in order)
1) Hotel
The hotel area is large, very green and well-groomed, there is where to wander and sit. We rested in the Vlachitsa building (for some reason Vlasia is all around on the Internet), which is located 20 steps from the sea. For comparison, the Amor Velaris building partially overlooks the road and is located further from the sea than 3 * buildings. And although the Vella Luca building is on the seashore, you have to go to the beach to the right the same 20 meters.
We took a room with a sea view, and did not regret it, the rooms with French windows (which overlook the side of the park) essentially overlook the parking lot.

The rooms are quite spacious, with a rather large balcony, but a compact combined bathroom. The room has a refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, a huge closet with trempel, well, a large bed). Plumbing is old but clean and everything works flawlessly. Towels + soap + shampoos - all in the room.
Pleased with the young ladies at the reception - they communicate very well in English and always help. When we went on an excursion and did not have time for either breakfast or dinner, they prepared breakfast for us with us, and dinner was waiting for us in a restaurant near the reception.
In terms of money, kunas and euros are still circulating in Croatia, you will have to change, a good exchange rate and no commission in a split bank, not far from the center of Supetar.
2) Beach
The beach is considered municipal, that is, you can safely relax on the beaches of neighboring hotels) But Velaris has an advantage - pine trees near the water, you can always lie in the shade of trees and on pebbles at the same time. On the beach there are 2 rows of sun loungers and 3 rows left for towels / rugs. You can rent sun loungers with umbrellas or sit on your rugs, where it is convenient) There were always places in the shade and in the sun. The beach is a large pebble. But everything fades into the background when you see water - it is unrealistically transparent, you can see every pebble at any depth. And the color cannot be described, it must be seen =)
Along the beach there is a promenade through the territory of all hotels, which rests on a restaurant and if you turn right, it continues right up to the center of Supetar. You can wander in the evening, admire the most beautiful stars, which we forget about in our cities . .
I am glad that on the beach there is no smell of barbecue, loud music, sellers . . - only you and the sea)
3) Nutrition
On this point, you can write a lot, the food is simply excellent! Had breakfast + dinner. They rolled out from behind the table) They calmly did without lunch - at most they could find a place in themselves for some fruit or try puff buns from local bakeries, this was more than enough.
Breakfast - sausages, cheeses, pastries, fruits, omelettes, fried bacon and ham, cereals, homemade jams, pâ té s. .

Dinner - fish, seafood, pizza!!! , soups, lots of side dishes, meat dishes, pastries, sweets, vegetables in various forms, fruits. . They have their own bakery and the bread is very tasty. Drinks at dinner are paid (0.75 still water -20 kn)
You definitely won’t go away hungry, everything is very tasty, there is really a lot of everything and it’s cool cooked! =)
4) Impressions
We are very happy that we visited this paradise)
Be sure to buy Brač 's homemade olive oil - it's just excellent! I didn't find this in stores. And it is worth visiting the Plitvice Lakes, the impressions cannot be expressed in words! Full day tour but worth it =)
And because were on Brac, could not help but visit the Golden Horn beach. We bought tickets in Supetar in 2 directions (50 kn / person), it’s cheaper (one way - 40 kn / person), and after 50 minutes of traveling through the ancient stone towns and mountains, we ended up on the most beautiful beach in Croatia. A small pebble and the purest azure sea - an unusual combination!
And I was also impressed by the view from the tower in Diocletian's palace! ! You can see the whole Split with red roofs of houses, the sea, everything. . . =)
