I stayed with my son last year at the Lestos Hotel Annex. It's ok for a threesome, but certainly not great. My son is 12 years old, so we didn’t really sit in the room. In general, we went to Zakynthos to see the island as much as possible. Therefore, we chose an inexpensive hotel, but took money with us in order to travel on excursions. We went on a cruise around the island, to the monasteries of the Peloponnese and on a cruise to the habitat of sea turtles Caretta Caretta. The last excursion impressed both me and my son the most. But now is not about that. I want to say about the hotel that it is not very new, but still normal. Our room was overlooking the pool. Air conditioning worked properly, but we paid 35 euros for it for the entire stay in the hotel (5 euros / day). Sunbeds on the beach are also paid, but this, in principle, is normal in most hotels. We have been traveling for years, so we always keep this in mind. Personally, I liked that there is a children's pool. It was possible not to be afraid for the child and not every day to go to the sea. Although not far from it, it is sometimes very hot to go. The beach is sandy with an excellent entrance. There are no complaints about this. We only had breakfast. So, during the day and in the evening you ate in taverns not far from the hotel - in the village of Alykes. The food is excellent and not very expensive. In addition, you can try local wine. Each tavern has its own. Believe me, it is worth it to visit new taverns every time. The hotel is clean enough. Furniture, of course, old, but not deadly. My child and I were in the room only in the evening, well, we slept naturally. And so constantly the sea, excursions, walks around the village. So, it is not so important for us that there are always fresh towels and washed windows. And so, bed linen is changed, towels too. Everything is within the normal range. Thanks to our hotel guide Nikos for his help in communicating with locals and hotel staff. We also bought tours from him. Rest, it seems to me, was a success. But don't expect too cool service.
