We rested on the island of Zakynthos in early June, at first they were afraid that there would already be many other tourists at that time, and they scared us that the sea was cold, but everything turned out great! We have already been to the Ionian Islands, but we had never heard of Zakynthos before, so we set off with pleasure to discover a new direction!
With the help of the agency, we chose one of the quietest villages - Alykes! Somehow my husband and I are already past the age when endless fun is needed. The Konstantin Hotel was chosen based on its location and star rating, they didn’t want all-inclusive, but it just so happened. The description of the hotel is completely true, I want to warn you right away - always understand where you are going and what kind of vacation you are going for. During the holidays, there were young couples who needed discos, noisy parties, in general, youth recreation, you will not find this in Alykes! We were more than satisfied, so we are absolutely satisfied with the rest.
We had a check-in immediately, as soon as we arrived, the owner himself met Kostas, always friendly, always helping! The room was on the second floor overlooking the pool and with a side sea view, there is no extra noise, because, again, I repeat, there are no discos, the bar in the restaurant is open until 11 pm and people are relaxing. There is a double bed in the room, air conditioning for an extra charge (we didn’t need it, because it was still cool in the evening. Safes in the room are free, although at first they couldn’t figure out how to set the code, but they asked for a separate guide, and soon Kostas came up to us and helped with As for the food in the restaurant, the choice is small, but everything is very homely and delicious, there has never been such a dish that we did not like the dish! And in the evening having a glass of wine on the terrace by the sea is the most magnificent!

For a quiet, relaxed holiday, the hotel is definitely suitable, it is also located near the center of the village, you can walk to the village of Katastari on foot. In addition to walking, we diversified our vacation with excursions! We took excursions from a tour operator, because for me quality and reliability are above all! Be sure to go on a sightseeing tour by bus! Excellent guide, informative tour, not tiring and at the same time make an impression of the island! And, of course, Navagio Bay, there are simply no words! We took another cruise to swim into the bay, and not to look from a height! And they took an excursion to the Peloponnese to Kalavryta, since I can't help but admire the Greek temples! For me, it is always something amazing, especially the church of St. Andrew the First-Called!
As a result, we left almost with tears in our eyes, we will visit the island of Zakynthos again for sure ! !
