If you choose a hotel on the island of Thassos, then definitely Makryammos Bungalows.
The hotel has a large area with lots of vegetation, a clean large private beach. When we arrived, we were met by hotel guides Victoria and Yulia, and escorted us to the reception. By the way, we didn't carry our suitcases ourselves, they took them straight to our room.
Russian-speaking staff Maria and Alexis work at the reception, and if the shift fell on English speakers, then our hotel guides helped us in talking with them.
We settled right away, so it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and check-in from two.
We reached the room by golf cart, which works every day. The room is cozy, modern furniture, its own terrace. Safe, telephone, air conditioning, everything was already included in the price of the room. Clean bathroom, large bed, cleaned every morning while we were at breakfast.
The hotel operates on a breakfast-dinner basis. Large selection of dishes, drinks included in the price only in the morning.
There are 4 bars on the territory: at the restaurant, the beach, an evening bar next to the tavern (where we sometimes dined) and a pool bar. The pool was for adults and children. There are two lifeguards, one at the pool and one at the beach.
Near the beach there is entertainment: a catamaran, inflatable mattresses and water sports. Only for an additional fee, we paid about 15 euros for a catamaran.
There is also a mini market on site where you can buy everything you need.
We went on a sailboat excursion, because we wanted to see the rest of the island's beaches, we liked it, it's more of a boat trip than an excursion, and it was on it that we enjoyed the views of the island.
