There was no question before choosing where to go, our whole family loves Greece and everything connected with it. We traveled to many regions but have not yet been to northern Greece, maybe the word "Northern" scared me. Friends advised us to stay at the Porto Carras hotel, we have two children and they already have four, they said there is a whole paradise for children, that they have not seen them for almost the entire vacation. You leave in the mini club and until six in the evening professional animators entertain children with their programs. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with a smile and the area did not disappoint, really big. So we entered the hotel. I was immediately surprised by the black floor, we had never seen this in hotels before, but it was very pleasant coolness in the lobby, since it was plus 35 outside. We met the guys in yellow T-shirts, and at the sight of them there was a complete feeling of comfort and safety, because we know what if they are nearby, then any issue will be resolved in a split second. Pleasant girls at the reception quickly settled in, porters helped with luggage, everything was quick and efficient, and we immediately got to lunch time, without going up to the room we immediately went to the restaurant as we were very hungry, the kitchen was a pleasant surprise, everything was very tasty in a rustic and homely way as if he was cooking at home in his kitchen, they created queues, uncivilized citizens who took full plates as if it was impossible to go a second time and collected everything from the distributing plates and, accordingly, everyone had to wait, and so the food stands were enough to organize everything without a queue. There were also enough sunbeds for absolutely everyone, the only thing that didn’t please the guests from the Balkans, who occupy sunbeds near the beach bar from 5-6 in the morning, although this is prohibited. Complete lack of culture, but it's good that there were always people who controlled it and took things from the reserved sunbeds and freed up for guests who could not find a place for themselves. Also, on the advice of our guide, we took bicycles and set off to explore the territory and were amazed by the beauty of the bays of Porto Carras, they are located in such a hidden place that you can swim up to them either on bikes or on a ship. Complete privacy, even make a nudist beach there. And there were already 24 such bays, we managed to see only 5 because everywhere we wanted to stay longer to swim, take pictures and sunbathe. The sea is really amazing. And a clean beach with a blue flag confirms this. In general, I can write a lot. In the end, I really liked the hotel. I advise everyone. Therefore, you can read reviews at least as much, but it’s better to make sure and tune in to positive and rest.
