THANKS!! ! Many thanks to everyone who took part in the organization of our tour “Eureka! Ancient Greece. I just returned from a tour with my husband and immediately, while the memories are fresh in my memory, I decided to write a review. More precisely, mentally, we are still there and for the third evening meeting with friends, children, matchmakers, drinking Greek wine with cheese and olives, sharing our impressions with all!!! So, thanks to the girl Vika from the Kiev office, who helped us in choosing and designing the tour! Thank you, or rather correctly speak the Greek "efcharisto", to our guides and drivers on excursions and to our hotel guide, who was constantly at the hotel and answered all our many questions in a friendly and competent manner! Thanks to the lovely Ellinair flight attendants and airport staff who greeted us.

Thanks to the lovely Ellinair flight attendants and airport staff who greeted us.
And of course, thanks to the whole team of Mouzenidis Travel, to whom we have entrusted the organization of our trip for the third time!
This time we decided to see the mainland, and not just bask in the azure waters of the Greek seas (Cretan and Ionian), as we did earlier. Moreover, the vacation did not work out in the summer, and now the weather did not favor swimming in the sea. But we were not upset: we walked around the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, which lives its vibrant life despite the fact that now is not the tourist season in Greece, went to Kastoria for a fur coat (we had planned for a long time, but had not been on the mainland before), had a great time on excursions to Aridea - hot thermal springs. The guide who sold excursions in our hotel says that it is surprising why the excursion to Aridea is so popular, because there are no special historical, archaeological monuments for which they go to Greece, but we did not regret that we went on it - indeed, places very beautiful, the surrounding nature, the air, the water - it was like visiting a mini-sanatorium!
I really liked the trip to Meteora !! ! This is the first thing to see in northern Greece. An amazing sight, gorgeous photos and incredibly calming energy of the monasteries themselves! They left notes for health and repose, they do not require money - not like in our churches, there are just urns where you can leave donations. In general, my husband and I are delighted with the churches in Greece - everything is not like ours, a “commercial organization” with priests on a Bentley, but more sincerely arranged. There are many ancient temples in Thessaloniki that are worth visiting, and of course the main temple of the city is the temple of Demetrius of Thessalonica, in the first place. It was also nice when, after visiting the icon-painting workshop in Kalambaka, a lottery was held between those who made purchases there. We got one more icon - St. Paraskeva-Pyatnitsa. The most pleasant gift!
By the way, all meals and entrances to museums and swimming pools in Aridea are paid extra. For lunch we spent about 30 euros for two a day and ate to satiety! In the taverns where we ate, it’s cozy in a homely way and the portions are good, “as a grandmother would feed” - someone from our group put it!
A few words about the hotel is also worth saying. We stayed at Domotel Les Lazaristes. The hotel is perfect in every sense of the word: the rooms are new, spacious and well-equipped, the food is excellent, the service is top notch, the staff is very friendly and efficient, and the location is excellent - close to the center and two supermarkets nearby.
In general, we really liked the mainland! Next time we plan to relax in the Peloponnese, see Athens, Mycenae, Epidaurus and, of course, make a wish by touching the Navel of the Earth in Delphi. Truly, Greece has everything and this is the country where you can return countless times and discover something new every time!! !

We were in Greece two years ago and saw everything. But we went to Thessaloniki again, on 4/3, with only one goal - there was a special offer for which they gave a Schengen multivisa for a year! When choosing hotels - they gave 3 to choose from, we "lohanulis" and took Domotel Les Lazaristes Art Hotel 5 *, instead of "Macedonia". "Dom" is a wonderful hotel, everything is super, but there are two big "BUT": location and dinner. If everything was super with breakfast, then dinner was served at 8 pm, when we already wanted to sleep. And the location. . . The hotel is located in a quiet, cozy area, around expensive houses, but had to travel by bus, usually crowded, back and forth. To the bus 5 minutes, then about twenty minutes away, it seems a bit, but slightly annoying. There is absolutely nothing to do in the city, it is a pleasure to wander along the embankment. And those who settled in "Macedonia" lived just on the embankment!! ! The hotel "Macedonia", of course, is simpler, but the location is super! Therefore, if you go to Thessaloniki for a couple of days, stay only here! And be sure to go to Meteora - it's a miracle!

Good day to all! We rested with a girlfriend in Thessaloniki, before that we had already been to Greece in the summer. And now they wanted to look at Greece in the fall. The agency offered us a super tour of Eureka, it's really cheaper than just choosing a hotel for relaxation and plus a city tour on the tour.

The agency offered us a super tour of Eureka, it's really cheaper than just choosing a hotel for relaxation and plus a city tour on the tour. The hotel is small, but cozy, tidy, Wi-Fi works, there is a small SPA. , A stone's throw from the hotel supermarket. The hotel also has guides from whom you can order excursions, it is very convenient, we recommend this option. We visited the thermal springs, visited Langada (Holy Spring, the Church of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God, museums, the Holy Trinity Monastery, etc. ) there are very many Greeks in this place, and now foreigners have such an opportunity, and also visited shopping (shopping center Cosmos) such a trip is also organized. Therefore, you can safely go to Greece in any season)

I returned from this hotel on 01/20/13, I was very pleased with both the hotel and the service and food. The only negative is the lack of an indoor pool, but the hammam is excellent. Many thanks to Mouzenidis Travel: meeting, settling and departure to the airport - everything went without any complications.
