We flew to Golden Odуsey with a group of 5 adults, 1 teenager and a 3 year old child. I really liked the hotel, clean, well-groomed, green area, large perennial olive trees, arborvitae, figs, etc. , many flowering shrubs, adult and children's pools with fountains. The hotel consists of several two and three storey buildings. You can go to the sea on foot (it's about 15-20 minutes walking at a leisurely pace) or by hotel minibus, which took us at 9.30 in the morning, took us to the hotel at 12.00 for lunch, then again at 15.30 took us to the sea and at 18.00 to the hotel. We had time to swim in the sea and play in the pool. Near the pool during the day animations for children and adults. In the evening, at first, a children's disco for the little ones, and then entertainment for adults. You can rent a car and drive around the island, see new beaches, villages, cities with many centuries of history. Personally, we went to Rhodes by public bus (3.5 euros per person one way). In the evening, we ordered lunch boxes at the reception, got them at the restaurant in the morning, and after breakfast we went to Rhodes - the main city of the island of Rhodes. We wandered around the old town for several hours on our own, took pictures and returned in the evening. A day later we traveled around Rhodes. Booked a car with a driver. A car for 8 people, for the whole day, paid 300 euros. We have almost covered more than half of the island. First we stopped at "7 Sources", the air is clean everywhere, but the air there was unusual. We walked there along a narrow, narrow tunnel of 180 meters. There is a sign there: whoever passes through the tunnel, sins are written off from him. Even if you do not believe in omens, but just walk through a dark narrow tunnel through the water, you get such a charge of vivacity! We stopped at the Tsampika church, which is located on the mountain. We did not go up the mountain itself, but walked. There are 300 steps leading up to it. The view from above is wonderful - mountains, pine trees, the sea below, blue sky and the Sun! Very strong place! And then there was Lindos - the white city. In this city, an unusual taxi is donkeys. On them you can climb to the old city and then go down. And it’s better to walk, because you can take cool photos along the way. . You can go into the old city (I don’t remember how much the entrance costs, like 6 euros), or you can walk under the walls of the old city, carefully approach the cliff and sit. The photos turned out great! And further south of the island to the Kiss of the Two Seas - this is the place where the two seas, the Aegean and the Mediterranean, meet. There is room for surfers there. Very windy, very humid. Then we drove north. We went to different villages, churches, stopped, where beautiful views and photographed, photographed. And at the end we stopped at the "Drunk Village", where we tasted the wine of local winemakers for a long time, ate goat cheese with olives. We returned to the hotel for dinner. And now separately about breakfasts, lunches and dinners at the hotel. Meals at the hotel - "All inclusive", buffet. The food is excellent, varied and very tasty. Always a huge selection of hot, salads, desserts. Ice cream, fresh fruits - morning, afternoon, evening. Local red, white wine, beer - always with meals in the restaurant. And in the pool bar after dinner, wine, beer, sweet carbonated drinks. Tea with pastries at any time during the day and in the evening. Delicious alcoholic drinks in the evening. I would like to conclude by talking about the staff. Absolutely everyone is friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service. They were always helpful and patient with us. In general, the attitude towards children in Greece is reverent, everything was forgiven to them, everyone smiled at them. With such staff, service felt very comfortable in the hotel. The hotel has many foreign guests. We are also Russians. Many come with children. Yes, people of different generations can come here, both in large companies and small ones, with or without children. Everyone will feel cozy, comfortable, at home.
