The canteen workers will not move, they pretend that you owe them and are obliged to them, with a haughty face. Only at lunchtime you can pour some kind of soft drinks yourself from the cooler, then at 15 o'clock they turn it off and if you want to drink, then be kind enough to stand in line at the so-called bar, where one employee works and also barely move, you can stand on 10-15 minutes with a glass of sprite or beer, etc.
dinners are also not particularly scattered with a varied menu, very overcooked and dry fish, sometimes there was lamb, and so everything was sausage and pasta, soups leave much to be desired)) It is not possible to pour tea and coffee for dinner, because the boiler is closed, there is no boiling water. This begs the question, why then do they bake sweets in the evening if there is no tea and coffee ?? ? In short, food is complete bullshit (sorry)

There are shops and restaurants where you can sit and listen to music with a cup of coffee, beer, etc.

And now about the hotel in which we rested. Very nice hotel, fresh, probably recently renovated, very friendly staff. Regarding food, it was delicious every time, there was variety, especially at dinner, and most importantly, there were a lot of fruits. They just started the season of watermelons, melons, apricots and peaches. The hotel has a very convenient location, it is located next to the main street, where you can walk, eat and buy souvenirs, but not too close, so it was very calm and quiet to sleep at night! ) In general, I was very satisfied with the rest, I advise everyone, for sure you will not regret!

You can rent a car and drive around the island, see new beaches, villages, cities with many centuries of history. Personally, we went to Rhodes by public bus (3.5 euros per person one way). You can go into the old city (I don’t remember how much the entrance costs, like 6 euros), or you can walk under the walls of the old city, carefully approach the cliff and sit. The photos turned out great! And further south of the island to the Kiss of the Two Seas - this is the place where the two seas, the Aegean and the Mediterranean, meet. There is room for surfers there. Very windy, very humid. Then we drove north. We went to different villages, churches, stopped, where beautiful views and photographed, photographed. I would like to conclude by talking about the staff. Absolutely everyone is friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service. They were always helpful and patient with us. In general, the attitude towards children in Greece is reverent, everything was forgiven to them, everyone smiled at them. With such staff, service felt very comfortable in the hotel. The hotel has many foreign guests. We are also Russians. Many come with children. The hotel guide Ekaterina advised us to take a walk along the Eucalyptus Alley in the evening, as they call it there! The place is very nice, a mini-Broadway with shops, taverns, souvenir shops.
We took a sightseeing tour - the Aegean Grand tour. Very educational and informative tour. Although I prefer to drive myself by car, but my wife insisted.

It's nice when the hotel hears you. There is also a man working in the restaurant who speaks Russian, a very pleasant young man. Always very attentive and friendly.
