We took 2 vouchers at the KLADOS company near the hotel. The first trip was to Falakarna. We did not get to the ruins, a castle hung. Shop, go eat. We left the cafe, and the bus showed us the tail. In short: we had to return by taxi ourselves. The taxi driver gave a check for 130 euros. We went to them to sort it out. We no longer wanted excursions.... There is another company "Spyridon tour" farther away. I advise you to contact there. Our neighbors were delighted! . A whole show on the trip: with songs, with dances and with sandwiches.

The room is large with a balcony. Plumbing is updated, but everything else has left its mark. There is a TV with a couple of Russian-language channels, a refrigerator. Air conditioning for an additional fee: 5 euros per day, there is Wi-Fi in the lobby. Every day they wash the floor and throw out the trash, and make the beds. Bed linen and towels were changed once during our stay. Tipping didn't affect it. We did not dare to throw towels on the floor as an indicator of their replacement, because it is quite possible that they would simply be picked up and hung back. No soap, hair dryer didn't work well, but we had our own. We were grateful to previous guests who pulled a clothesline on the balcony. Very comfortably! There were interruptions in hot water. We could not synchronize her appearance and absence, because. were rarely in the room. It was a bit damp, but I attribute this to the maritime climate and the fact that the room was on the first floor. We lived in room 119, it is visible from the reception, people walk past it to the dining room and to the sea, but this did not bother us. The only thing I didn’t immediately get used to, because these are insects: wood lice, which slowly crawled on the balcony and tried to visit. My husband had to become the killer of these harmless creatures, and I got used to them! : ) Ants ran in, but not further than the corridor, and we were also visited by a cute lizard. The poor thing got scared when we shone a flashlight on her to see, and ran away. We went swimming to the left of the hotel, there was a better entry, or we went to neighboring towns. Vacationers in this hotel: Poles, Germans, French, Russians. Quiet in the evenings. At the expense of the hotel: the price-quality ratio justifies itself. If you claim glamor, luxurious rooms and an abundance of food and entertainment, then you need to understand that this costs an order of magnitude more expensive. Briefly some information. The hotel is located in the provincial town of Adelianos Kampos, but it has everything a tourist needs: souvenir shops, shops, car rentals, fur coats, excursions, a gas station, a pharmacy, restaurants, a bakery (Φ Ο Υ Ρ Ν Ο Σ ). Fuel costs about 1.80 euros per 1 liter. There is also a sightseeing train, the cost of the tour is 15 euros, tickets can be bought either at excursion offices, in which car rental is usually available, as well as directly at the Yellow Train booth itself. You need to walk along the only central street towards Rethymno, cross the bridge and there will be a booth "Yellow Train" near the ceramics market. Excursions are sold literally at every step, and as far as I understand, there are two main companies that organize excursions: "Klados Travel" & "Iakovos Travel", and they sell intermediaries in offices on the streets. There are buses to Rethymnon, a ticket costs 1.20 euros, a taxi costs 10 euros. Taxi rank outside the Orion Hotel and in front of the Jo-An Beach Hotel. The shops sell wine, crayfish on tap, the price is very ridiculous. We saw that many were sitting with laptops at the bus stop near the Orion Hotel, apparently there was free Wi-Fi. We rented a car from "AutoForce" (Rent A Car), they have a website, and for whom it is important, a Russian-speaking girl works there. By the way, in some places there is Russian-speaking staff. But on the other hand, the most beautiful territory of the hotel, which, by the way, is located right on the coastline. The food is delicious, the diet of dishes, however, is not very large, and the hotel is not friendly with desserts - they give jelly on holidays, and that's it. However, the hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurant. Well, plus the rooms are very well cleaned - floors are washed every day, bed linen is changed every two days. In general, if the purpose of your trip is tourism, and you are not going to spend much time at the hotel, the hotel is for you. But not for picky travelers.

Breakfasts are monotonous, dinners for every taste (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits) The beach is small, sandy, but the entry into the sea is rocky (200 meters to the left of the sandy one) There are very strong waves on the sea.
