The best location (on a straight line 600 m from the sea there are rental offices, the best cafes in the town, a good supermarket, intercity transport stops; huge parking and interchange with access to the intercity highway); very clean (cleaning in the room with a change of bedding - every two days, on the territory every day); breakfasts are monotonous but sufficient for a morning snack (scrambled eggs, muesli, salads, good coffee, sandwiches . . ); billiards, swimming pool. Good-natured owners observe the cult of cats. Choose rooms with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, otherwise the proximity of the highway can be annoying. Air conditioning (for an extra charge) was not required, because. the nights and at the end of July were fresh, and the room did not accumulate the heat of the day.
I recommend to everyone both the hotel and the town of Platanias and the Rethymnon area in Crete.
