I was vacationing with a child, so when I came to a travel agency, I purposefully looked for a hotel for a family vacation, where children's animation would be present.
As a result, I chose the cozy hotel Amnissos Residence, which is located in the Rethymnon region, in the tourist village of Adele. And for the price, it was very suitable for us, inexpensive.
The road from the airport took about 1.5 hours, a little bit, but the little one was already tired. Luckily, upon arrival, we were immediately given a room where we could rest in peace. The hall in the hotel is new, very beautiful, stylish. The staff is Russian-speaking, very pleasant, they are attentive to the guests, they respond to requests with understanding, they showed them to the room, they showed everything, they told.
The territory of the hotel turned out to be small, but everywhere there is a lot of vegetation, lemon trees, shrubs, flowers.

The room is good, not spacious, but there is enough space for two, two single beds, wardrobe, bedside tables. It can be seen that not so long ago it was updated, especially the bathroom is new and all the plumbing in it, in the bathroom there is a shower. It was clean, the room was cleaned regularly, the linen was changed 3 times a week, the linen was fresh, the room always smelled good too.
The food here is varied and tasty, there are fresh salads, cold hot appetizers, meat dishes, fish and soups. The child can be fed without problems, plus a lot of fruit-vitamins.
The hotel has both an adult and a children's pool, an area with sun loungers for relaxation, and a bar where you can take soft drinks. Internet worked well everywhere.
The animation also did not disappoint, the child was constantly busy with games, dancing, swimming. I used to do yoga or gymnastics in the morning. In the evening they sang karaoke and danced. Once the hotel arranged a themed evening, in accordance with Cretan traditions, music and dances, it was quite fun and interesting.
We went on a tour of Balos (the bay where 3 seas merge) and the Palace of Knossos, it was very interesting and informative, especially to my son, many thanks to the guide.
In general, the rest left a good impression. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, warm atmosphere, food, service, staff. We are very satisfied with everything and, of course, we will come back here again! We fell in love with Crete!
