Vacationing with family in Crete. We planned our trip for a long time, so we approached the choice of the hotel thoroughly. Our travel agent recommended the Amnissos Residence, a budget family friendly hotel. They did not regret their choice at all. A huge plus of this hotel is a good organization of children's leisure. Our daughter was delighted with the animators of the Grekoleto kids club. It is immediately clear that the guys are doing their job, find an approach to each child. It is very convenient that the animators speak Russian and English. The presence of programs of different subjects (sports, creative, developing, etc. ) makes the rest of the kids exciting and interesting.
I can say one thing about the room - it is normal for 3 *. If you want some frills, then choose a hotel with a higher star rating. Everything is standard here, the room is not big, but very cozy and clean. We paid attention to cleanliness most of all, but the staff coped with their work. The mattresses and pillows are not new, but quite comfortable. All necessary equipment is available in the room.

The sea is the main plus of our trip! It is beautiful here and the beach is quite well-groomed. The beach is sand and pebble. Sunbeds are free, there is a bar on the beach, you can buy drinks there.
The territory of the hotel is a solid four, but the abundance of flowers could not but rejoice. The nearest city of Rethymnon is about 10 kilometers away, maybe a little less, so you won’t be able to walk to it. We rented a car and got there without any problems. There you can already buy souvenirs, eat in local taverns and just enjoy a wonderful warm evening.
