Отдых удался. Rest was a success.

Recently returned from Greece. We rested on Crete for the second time, in the city of Rethymnon, in the two-star Zantina Hotel. The hotel is well maintained and clean, fully meets its two stars.
The territory of the hotel is small, but the sea is nearby, and the old town is a 20-minute walk, so we did not get bored at the hotel.
Wi-fi is good, however, catches at the reception.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which could not but rejoice, because when we rested, it was very hot. There was always cold and hot water, and there were Russian channels. Our room had a sea view, so we enjoyed the sunset in the evenings.
The staff does not speak Russian, but we had enough of our initial English to find a common language. If we did not understand something, then Daria, our hotel guide, always helped us.

The hotel only offers breakfast. Coffee, water, cheese, sausage, yogurt - quite a standard breakfast. For lunch and dinner we went to the tavern. We especially liked the Loggia tavern, which is located in the old town. There are huge portions, very tasty, and the prices are low for the old city.
For the entire holiday, we rented a car for 2 days and drove a little through the main attractions. And we flew by plane to Santorini, I recommend an air tour to everyone who wants to go to Santorini, you spend much less time on the road and we spent more than 10 hours on the island. And the price is not much different from the price on the ship. Thank you for organizing excursions and cars - Daria.
